I’m going to order the DD dual capable kit from @4x4TruckLEDs.com this summer and starting to research harness routing and bumper removal. Below seems like a good video showing how to remove/reinstall capable bumper.
IMO, 4x4s enclosed light brackets look much cleaner than others.
Have either of you installed? Any tips or recommendations?
I looked at the harness on the driver’s side yesterday and definitely does not seem easy to disconnect. Not sure if loosening the bumper bolts first will help or not.
Are the ss3 sport SAE in white a worthwhile improvement over the factory fog lights in capable bumper? I’m not sure if i should go two sets of pro, or white sport and yellow pro.
I did this last night. Turned on accessory mode without parking brake, The seatbelt light goes off around a minute or so(takes forever). Then did the sequence 4 times and the light blinked a few times and worked.
I have a couple questions regarding the BD lights.
Do you prefer the s1 or s2 sport for bumper mounted reverse lights?
if i don’t want to tie into factory reverse lights, and only want them connected to an aux switch, how do you protect the unused connector on the harness?
@lethaljake , do the TOR side steps include all mounting brackets and hardware or do they reuse existing? My bronco does not have factory steps or sliders.
