That’s exactly how I did it too! I did have an issue with the puddle lights coming unplugged when reinstalling the new cap. There is a very hard peace of plastic in the housing that would push the plug off. Had to wiggle it on very carefully…

It’s essentially a rear cover for the mirror housing. There is the piece that has the actual glass attached to it that also houses the wiring & then there is the cover on the other side. See the link below for more details...

PSA: Soft top windows scratch even if you follow the written instructions. Used a wet microfiber towel + some dawn dish soap to clean off a bunch of gunk today. Noticed after it dried that they are now scratched to hell. I knew it would be an issue so I’m not surprised but also didn’t expect it...

No issues with running boards, they’re just in the way for installation purposes. Can’t speak on the mudflaps but shouldn’t interfere with them. The armor fits stung alongside and with the body of the Bronco
