I have the same concern with my top. That point and the one directly above it are both sharp metal edges. I will probably wrap the edge with electrical tape? I'll let you know how it turns out.

The dealership had me take the car to their auto body repair shop for a quote and they reached back out to corporate Ford to see which one (replacement or repair) they want to pay for. I will post once I find out.

Don’t forget that Ford is clamping down on the folks producing these products. In a few years, they will be rare again.
