My wife's 2.7 experienced the same issues last week at 2,900 miles. The dealer picked it up and I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm certain there's an issue inside the transfer case.
There's a grittiness to the 4A mode the feels like the lash wasn't set right and now some teeth have suffered...
I don't know when the changeover occurrent, but I checked my wife's toolkit, and sure enough, there are Torx Plus bits in there. They're labeled 'IP', which is Stanley's trademark for Torx Plus:
As soon as I got the VIN, I added it to my FordPass account. This morning I got my built email. Today I was able to activate Connected Services from my end. I guess the truck really exists.
This is exactly the hustle of the Sprint Booster, Banks Pedal Monster, and other similar products. Push the pedal 50% and get 80% throttle.
No map is going to offer more than 100% throttle, but some can get there quicker.
I suppose "stuck" is the wrong word. I'm not concerned about the dealer being penalized. I'm more concerned with which way to dispose of the excess unit for a few bucks and as little brain damage as possible.
Having two units is a gift, not a curse. If they weren't identical I'd keep them both.
Last week I and many others were excited to receive VINs and build week assignments of 9/27. Earlier this week I received an email and glanced at it, noting a new date of 10/4. No big deal, I got bumped a week.
Upon closer inspection, it's a different dealer and different VIN. Long story...
Is there a setting I'm overlooking in the user settings that allows me to disable the display of avatars? I figured out how to hide signatures, and the avatar setting is usually in the same area, but I cannot seem to find it.
