Same experience, same build.
And my '22 sat on ice/dirt mountain from Jan 22 to Jun 22 and somehow the rodents or other denizens of the mountain didn't do any damage. 22K mi since delivery, no issues.
Hope you enjoy it!
Finally had a chance to update my spreadsheet, available at the link below for anybody interested.
Observations
* Trailing 3 month daily production has been flat at 451/calendar day
* Trailing 3 month calendar day sales have been down for three consecutive months, with T3M June 2023 calendar...
Agreed. I originally spliced into the power locks, so the lights would flash as the car got up to speed.
I'd highly recommend wiring it to the up fitter switches (Aux 6) if you have them. Huge advantage to have both working interior illumination and a way to quickly flip them on without opening...
If you have people of smaller stature, these might be what you need. I pulled these off my 4 dr OBX at about 12K miles, so there's some dirt/grime on them. But they'd look like that in 5K mi anyway, right?
Comes with 6 of the bolts, but I think I'm short on hardware, because I used some of it...
I agree that the Ford dealer experience doesn't help, but are there any brands that have a good sales experience inside a dealership? I've only bought new at Ford, Audi, VW, Honda, and Toyota and all the experiences with the sales folks have been less than professional.
As far as demand, based...
Yep, I think all those will have to help jump sales. I think particularly more and better hard tops. I almost didn't buy due to having to get a soft top, although I'm super happy with it.
Would mid-cycle refresh be in the 2025 model year? I don't think there's anything significant in the cards...
PenFed offering new car 36 - 72 mo loans at 5.19 - 5.34% currently.
While that's a lot higher than we've dealt with the last 10-ish years or more, it's not 9%.
But that assumes the credit score of a responsible adult. 9% must be for those in the cellar-ish 600's.
Good point above. They're going to try to maximize profitability while still at least having enough Rangers around to fulfill some of the demand. I don't envy their planning folks.
Although I wonder if Rangers really are less profitable, particularly if they come out of the gate producing...
Good point. I've watched some of the TFL Truck videos and they'd been saying for a while that 2023 was going to be the year of the mid-sized truck.
There's a bunch of new products in that segment that really look great. I think you're correct in that some Wrangler/Bronco shoppers might be...
Yep, as I mentioned, I don't have any factors for interest rates.
That being said, could I see your model so I can incorporate some of your modeling expertise?
Agreed. I kind of don't care, but as F is a decent chunk of my portfolio, I do have a bit of skin in the game and would rather they were closer to 200K and leading the segment than the alternative.
That being said, I'm gonna have more fun in a few weeks in the sand on the OBX in my OBX!
