I'm interested. My tailgate is occupied by the table at the moment and I have some other ideas. It looks like it will fit between the Tuffy drawer and the back seats. Maybe velcro to the seat back & use connectors to move it for camping.
Definitely interested.
The Ford bracket seems like a rip off. I'm going to go with the @DV8offroad MTO series front and rear bumpers when funds are better.
In the meantime, I'm thinking of fabricating something on the "Hutch" design idea so it's removable when not going on the trail.
Is it editable?
I'd add @DV8offroad for their MTO rear bumper (really need get an affiliate with them). The MTO front & rear look slick. Front has winch mount that doesn't stick way out. I'm planning on getting those & relocating my baja designs lights from my OE to the front, rear, & ditch lights
I was in a similar-ish situation when ordering last year. I knew I wanted the Sasquach package (this is what a Bronco is supposed to feel like, if not, look at a Sport) and the Base was all I "needed". Once I found out the Base couldn't option touch doors, tow package, Mid package, etc, and I...
Cool deal on @Ford Motor Company wanting to match names. It still does nothing about the larger problem of surprise ADM on delivery that is really damaging their name/brand. Progress is progress I guess though.
I'm in the same boat. The "Hutch Mount" looks plenty interesting. Otherwise I'd buy the @DV8offroad MTO front & rear bumpers & the winch for less than the ford option. I'll just relocate the baja lights if I go that direction.
At least for myself (I think a few more would agree), the soft top was a sacrifice to have our orders built. It's nice & all, I just don't see myself actually using. I'd mount an exo rack in a heartbeat & never really miss the convertible top.
@omg_bbq I'm going to learn a bit myself. I've done a little and gathered some stuff along the way, still no winch though. My friends are pretty experienced though. We're meeting at the Starbucks in angles camp @ 0700 if you can make it
At the moment, the torque spec on the rear lower shock mounts. I'm wanting to install these @Valkyrie Off Road skid armor plates and the 350# torque spec is killing me
