Update found my issue. It was the plastic inside the driver side fender. It holds wiring harnesses that goes under. Its held in place by three plastic clips, only on its left side. So I just placed a stick on foam under it. Noise is gone. Well, most of it. I probably should have placed more on top.
Just got the same issue for a week now, just in time when the bumper to bumper warranty is out. Mine started as a static sound kind of rattle when I'm gassing on low speed. Now it appears even on high speeds. I thought it might be the windshield cowl being slightly warped. I taped the warped...
The older version of jackery 1000 with 2 solar panels is fine for weekend trip. But for folks who are doing week long stay or have electric heater for winter trips. Anker 767, ecoflow delta 2 max and bluetti with 2k+ Wh would be a better deal for prime day.
I've heard, I'm just hoping the trektop will hold up better in keeping the noise down in high winds. The hard top would be great but just too much at the moment.
Do you feel any difference in driving characteristics, and NVH? I know adding a cross cross bar and a roll bar makes a significant difference on a miata. But it's a small tin can car compared to the bronco. If this solves the creaks on driving on washboard or rough roads. It's not a bad idea to...
Welp, I'm glad his ok and has enough money from his bushings to fix it. Also, he needs to take a break and re-evaluate. Nobody wants to be nuisance and a liability. Just my 2 cents.
Edit: The dude in green doesn't even looked surprised. Haha.
Makes sense. Is there any power gains without tune? Also, any drop in engine temps and mpg? I was around joshua tree last year in the summer and was logging 230°F +. I got an offroad trailer now. I'm worried that might pull up even more.
I don't think it's much useful either, but it's a good piece of mind incase of an accident or breakdown. I don't want to be blamed by insurance or turned away by warranty.
Does any one know what is the part number for Cruise Control Module cover? There is a shattered hole on mine, and I don't know how. Likely some highway debris. referred from service manual 419-03B Cruise Control, but no part number.
I see that the stock pipes are heavily wrapped. Maybe a heat tape/wrap, or move some of that heat shield from stock, just to be on the safe side. There might be a bunch of plastic polymers and rubbers that might get cooked and crack prematurely.
I invested on garmin tread overlander, and I have since used it on all of my trips. It shows which lands are private, how narrow the trails are, 3d mapping, built-in in reach (has monthly subscriptions), and other helpful applications. I also use onX to see the trail difficulty. Otherwise, I've...
I hope they would update the RGB LED for DRL on this. It looks kind of rough seeing every single led chip, but that's just my personal view. I was hoping something smoother like an neon lights LED designs.
I think for travel on cross country, camp sites and light trails. I'd go with a teardrop trailer, as it's more comfortable to sleep on and with in constraints. If you're planning on overlanding it be safer to have an off-road utility trailer. You can still load your bikes, have a bathroom set...
