Exact reason why I will no longer replace my current bestop soft top on my LJ wrangler, because I refuse to have that large logo on the rear compared to minimal tag thats on the current top. Fortunately, the bestop trektop we had for the wife's '21 bronco since the very beginning and is now sitting in storage since her '23 bronco has the hardtop on it for now, doesn't have that logo because she would have made me return it lol. The pockets are also where she kept her toll pass and driving glasses.

How is the noise on these, for those who had a hard top and long time users?
We had the trektop installed on my wife's '21 bronco (BL non sasquatch w/ 33" KO2s) for 25k miles since day 8 of ownership back in 12/2021. I took a few different dB readings in it on the same stretch of highway, similar weather/wind conditions, at 70mph for comparison:
1. Her '21 Bronco OEM top - was 2.5-3 dB louder (mainly noise coming from above the doors). Significantly louder in crosswinds.
2. Her '23 bronco (BL sasquatch w/ hard top) is between 1.5-2 dB louder. I would chalk this up as the larger 35" goodyears and the wind noise on the hard top seams.

I’ve had a hardtop up until now and honestly I don’t think it’s that different. I didn’t exactly classify the hardtop as quiet either.

So we don’t mind “advertising” for Ford, or Goodyear, or Method, or Warn, or countless other products that display a logo… but that BesTop logo, man, that’s a dealbreaker… 🤔
Well just considering the number of threads on this forum regarding blacking out, changing, or flat out removing the badging…yeah, a lot of us don’t like paying money to be a billboard, particularly if the “advertising” doesn’t match the rest of the aesthetic we’re trying to achieve.

Thank you! The crosswinds was my main concern as it can be unbearable in long stretch of the highway with strong winds.

I've heard, I'm just hoping the trektop will hold up better in keeping the noise down in high winds. The hard top would be great but just too much at the moment.

The bestop trektop solves this issue compared to the oem soft top. After running it for 1.5yrs and driving in constant crosswinds that sometimes can be brutal here in Colorado, it was a big improvement in that sense. Only reason we put the oem top back on was to trade it in for our ‘23 which has the hard top. Now my wife wants the sunrider for her hard top, so looks like the trektop may have to wait until next summer to go onto the new bronco. Ive been running Bestop soft tops on my jeep for several issues and the quality has been great, as well as their customer service. I had to reach out to them a few times when I girst installed the trektop on the bronco because I was one of the first 10 people to install it and there were some discrepancies in their instructions.

It’s the twill. The window bag it came with is the vinyl mataerial they use though and it’s actually pretty nice too.
Window bag? I bought my trektop twill with the order, I didn’t get a window bag. What does yours look like?

lots of folks debadge vehicles and don't buy accessories with logos

I also left some honest but polite feedback on how my install went with bestop, and mentioned I did not like the logo

It’s the one in the video below - I bought mine around 4th of July and their promo was a free window bag with any soft top order.

I was fortunate to get one that still has the little tag on the passenger side, I guess. I had a trektop on my JK Wrangler which also had subtle branding, but saw they updated the Jeep ones with the new, larger logo. Was happy they didn't do that with the Bronco one, but seems now they have. What are they thinking? That's hideous.

Man, that logo. It doesn’t fold all the way back so I’m out, but honestly I’m not in the “factory soft top sucks” crowd anyway. I like it, may block some view when all the way back but that’s what side mirrors are for.
