Great news! Reach out to Ford corporate and ask for a case number they will open a case and you can use that as reference.
I called my dealership and gave thecase number in which the dealership and corporate work out.
my dealership installed the harness and aux switches after ordering them! No...
OP- Not for nothing, there are multiple threads on 6g with people having different opinions here. Some say to go to the dealer cause they will get you the best pricing, others like above will say you didn't do your homework. I too am in this boat, infact I have a former dealer friend telling me...
FYI I called corp to open a case number...spoke with my dealer today and the parts guy is ordering the switches (checking on harness and other components needed)...but if you can get ahead of it ...it can be done I'm going to see this through!
Ok, we’ll it’s definitely out Fords hands those clowns sent me the shipping email today. Good news I got in touch with a case manager to open a file and I sent it to my dealership.
apparently they will have to order the part and install etc…so we’ll see but for what it’s worth definitely...
ok thank you for the video...yea this is what I was trying to avoid (pulling panels, messing with wiring) I guess ill see what happens...appreciate the feedback.
I think I'm toast on it already...trying to read from other threads and my Blend date already happened.
That might be where this got screwy...i have a confirmation on my 22MY but when the banks opened for the 23 I only got a confirmation email (no confirmation sheet) it was submitted.
Hey all just wanted to know has anyone ordered something and it not be included on their rig? Got my window sticker today, email that it was completed, VIN etc...I'm noticing my MIC hardtop and SAS parts were included..however some $250 charge (Not sure what it is); but no Aux switches that I...
Its going got be a contribution of a few things
1.Shady dealers ADM
2. People tired of waiting
3. Inflation/ increases a basic basesquatch will cost almost 46k (Tax, etc)
Ive decided to wait to see what happens with my dealer; ultimately i would walk with any ADM or BS fee attached. The gas up...
I just got a call back from my dealer and they are honoring the purchase agreement i signed for; albeit i had a signed purchase agreement....biggest takeaway here CALL YOUR DEALER!!! If your dealer is shady then F-them and switch your order. There are people flying to different states to pick up...
Interesting- Could you imagine all of this headache on a simple mis-communication like that? Ideally that would be great; im waiting for a call back from my dealer...i even have a signed purchase agreement also. Hoping what i saw was what ill pay...GL.
Im leaning both ways; didnt make my decision yet but im at that point. Assuming the Bronco dealer i go through is going to honor it; granted i added just an engine block heater im tempted to just remove it to say i didn't change a thing and we agreed on the price.
For me to jump back on the...
Im pretty much at this same spot...this was timing up cause i needed a winter vehicle but im going to just look at an older Rubi and call it. Horrible experience...
Dealerships will end because of Vroom/ Carvana for this very reason. Not sure why people dont have the ability to just buy direct AKA B2C! Get rid of the middle man and alot of people's issues will go away....
Some things i agree and completely understand...it just more of a common sense thing. Regardless of not having a VIN, Build date, whatever...even if you have price sheet signed etc it should be honored by that MY pricing! I know the sleazy fine print that enables them to wiggle out of the...
If you ordered that price should be locked in; what are you even saying? People who are ordering today should have the prices reflect on what they ordered. To keep raising the prices on people who already have been waiting for 1+ years is redic.
Alot are going to pull the plug on the wait alone; while inflation and prices on the bronco increase i might as well. Was excited but this has been a process....good luck to everyone and hope you all get yours soon.
