Good to know about Ford's temporary fix. I'll address that with the dealer.
But IMO Ford needs to replace every one of these as a recall with something that lasts.
And get the side windows so they don't look all wavy. If Jeep can do it right, so can Ford. How'd they miss this during all...
I fixed it (temporarily) by taking my soldering iron and melting a small hole in the plastic pieces where the original welds are, and then using cotter pins that I flattened the head of them so they don't pull through, and then I bent the two pieces of the cotter pins flat to hold the plastic...
Dear FMC, Glad you liked it! Feel free to repurpose it if you like. Glad to be back as a Ford owner again having my history dating back to working my way through college as a Ford technician and then after graduating getting the offer to be a chassis and suspension engineer that I have...
I am putting a catch can on my 2.3. I wish I did this on my 2011 BMW 335 which is a DI motor with no additional manifold injection. At 100K miles I had the intake manifold off and the valves were covered in build up. A catch can is a lot cheaper than walnut blasting your cylinder head.
The Sasquatch wheels I replaced these with already had TPMS in them, so I didn't need to buy any. I didn't even need to reset the TPMS monitor.
Update: These wheels and tires are still for sale. Looking for a good home. If you have a base model this makes a nice upgrade and the wheel is...
Ok. Is Chattanooga a reasonable meeting spot? The wheels have the tpms right. To arrange payment and meeting details best to email me at [email protected].
I’m located in North GA, about 3 hours from you. Please confirm they are the Sqtch wheels/tires per the pic. I’ll offer $1600 and I will pick them up. We can PM the details. Thanks
Anyone else have this problem with the soft top back window side fasteners? Got home from the dealer and found it this way. Appears someone didn’t know how to properly remove the back window. Dealer offered to replace at N/C but having the canvas attached with plastic tabs looks like a really...
I voted V8 but I really want bullet proof reliability (ala Toyota). So I-6 or Diesel. Looking at my BB’s 2.3-4TT and all the plastic has me cringing of another BMW scenario where I’ve had to replace everything in the engine bay
Yes, you need spacers. Not really any links for thsi. This is my salesman's badlands and he was able to get the forged raptor wheels and the rings from someone at a great price. The wheels alone are usually like $750 each, but maybe you might find a used set out there. Tires are 38x13.5's...
Note: this is my salesman's bronco, so providing what I know from him.
No additional lift that I'm aware of, just the base sasquatch
38x13.5's
No rubbing
No trimming
spacers that convert from 139.7 to 135 for the raptor wheels, forgot the thickness
Hope this helps
So this means the Coyote V8 fits?! Ford please bring us that version. We know it's too late for the Warthog (er, Raptor). I will put my deposit down on it now. Gotta keep one step ahead of Jeep.
