Interesting fact, I’m in Anchorage also and to my knowledge, our local dealer has delivered only one Braptor, oddly enough in Code Orange. It was sold at some point this winter for $25K over. I saw it this morning on my way to work, so it is still up here. I wonder if the VIN was somehow...
Handles excellent. Picked up 12/30/21. We have snow on the ground here until late April. We saw every variation of winter possible. Not once was I concerned. Link in bio is our build. Very pleased with the tires.
Also, ran in slippery 4A the whole time.
I have driven my F250 in 4H for 5-6 months a year for the last 11 years. At 103K miles, no damage is reported. It will make more noise than 2H on dry pavement, but the short time you drove that way will not hurt it.
Already been in very cold temps here. I would say that the MIC is no different than a factory hard top vehicle. We do have the noise cancelling option FWIW.
I hope you are tiny. Just not a lot of room back there. I have only folded the seats up in our two door, but I just don't think there is enough room even with them removed. Appears to be a cool product? Report back if you make it work.
I'm going to buck the trend and say long term, resale will be better on the Bronco than the 392. (Not considering the ADM) I'm a huge Jeep guy and personally the Bronco puts them to shame.
It should be fairly straightforward. If you have basic hand tools, I'd recommend tackling it yourself and saving money. Not worth $460 to me, just my opinion.
Keep it out of 4L for that stuff. Momentum is definitely your friend. 4h and when you start to bog, more throttle. Been happy with the Goodyears so far. Trying to run them year round.
We both live in arctic environments, so in short, quite a bit. Jump box, battery cables, tow strap, ratchet straps, winter gear, boots, winter hat, shackles, trailer hitch, towels, first aid kit. That's the basics.
I don't have anything particular in mind, I am just a little shocked at the lack of storage as a whole. I got a couple of gifts from the dealer. One was the First Aid kit. I put that in the console and that took up 50% of the room. Sunglass cases can go in the mesh pockets and then I'm...
Two weeks in and loving it. It's funny about all the things that people gripe about. Small gas tank, blown motors, QC issues, etc. My one and only gripe so far is the lack of storage. I'm not sure how this was overlooked at Ford being that they got so many things other complicated things...
