never understood why the old Fairlanes weren't more popular, they look so much better than the Bel Airs (they sold better but never became that classic that the Chevys are)
One of my favorite things on the 2 door Heritage. The problem is it's unique to our model and someday some of us will need to get one, so Ford build another 2 door with square fenders so years from now replacement parts are available.
I'm interested in why you think the Heritage is stupid. I get that a lot of people don't like the look but a lot of us bought one because we liked not only the look but the value you got. Standard sas package, mid package, modular top, square fenders, nice white wheels and unique white bits...
I'm retired but I work part time at Lowes. One day a coworker came back from lunch and told me she was eating lunch in her car when a man stopped his truck in the middle of the parking lot, got out and took a picture of my Bronco. He didn't seem to care that he was blocking traffic. She didn't...
I doubt you'll have any top issues. No vehicle is perfect but so far my girl has been damn close. My only issue was catching a stray rock and having to have my windshield replaced. I strongly recommend having glass coverage on your insurance as the flat glass will get hit. I took numerous hits...
If I were Ford, this would be my next special edition.
Analog gauges
Keep it Big Bend based with less tech
Give it the best suspension stuff
Chrome wheels maybe
Baja spare cover
My only issue with it is that it would be a shame to see a 4 door version.
If they are done with the Heritage they had better put square fenders on something else or us 2 door guys are gonna be in trouble down the road. Can you imagine getting into a fender bender 5 years from now and there's only a few hundred of them out there?
Just a thought but how many miles were on yours when you picked it up? There were early ones built for Ford events before any were built for our orders. This may be one of those.
Not sure what is sad about having a limited production model. I like that I've had my Heritage for over 5 months and haven't seen another one on the road. Add in the fact that it's a 2 door manual and I got myself something special. We've all got our own idea of what the perfect Bronco is. I...
