  1. So a tree fell on my Bronco…

    DAMN! That sucks!
  2. How AWD works (Includes Ford's 4A system)

If what you say is correct, " In a turn, they open the clutch. Or possibly feather it to allow some drive across while allowing slip." That would be differential action which is what I asked about. You DO NOT want the front end and rear end binding in the transfer case, that is not a good thing.
  3. How AWD works (Includes Ford's 4A system)

The one thing that has not been stated unequivocally about 4A is whether there is differential action between the front and rear axles when in a turn. Yes, it appears to apply torque to the front axle when needed lie an AWD but there appears to be no differential action between the front and...
  4. Badlands on 33's tire pressure on pavement poll

Be sure to do the chalk test on hot tires then let them cool and measure the pressure on each tire so you know how to get the best ground patch for each tire.
  5. Best Practice 5 Tire Rotation?

    Tire dressing is your friend.
  6. Best Practice 5 Tire Rotation?

If you rotate every 7 - 10k miles the difference will not be that great. Better to rotate with the full size spare and plan to replace it too when new tires are needed.
  7. Factory Trailer Brake Controller installation feedback

Thanks. The manual you provided (thank you) shows those being disconnected but does not show them being reconnected.
  8. Is Locking Rear Differential something I want?

In a word, "yes". It's worth having.
  9. Can you lock both differentials on a loose gravel road in 4H?

The different goat modes do more than just pick 4H versus 4L, lock diffs and unlock the sway bar, they also affect shift points (with the 10 speed auto) and throttle response so they are worth considering.
  10. Factory Trailer Brake Controller installation feedback

Am I understanding the installation guide correctly, there is a cable (actually two with the manual) under the center console that you disconnect and leave disconnected when you install the trailer brake? I'm assuming this cable has something to do with "Park" mode on an automatic (page 7 of the...
  11. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

I'm getting a 4-door. I have a big dog (German Shepherd) and I plan on towing a trailer. I actually would have gotten a 2-door if it weren't for the need of space and towing. I'm 62 BTW.
  12. Add SAS Billsteins to a non-SAS BL?

I agree which is why I opted for non SAS (that and I am going to tow a trailer). I was simply thinking that the SAS Billsteins might offer some additional travel if I feel I need it down the road. In many of the videos I've watched tire choice would have made a huge difference but I won't...
  13. Add SAS Billsteins to a non-SAS BL?

Correct, but the SAS Billsteins seem longer which should equate into more travel.
  14. Add SAS Billsteins to a non-SAS BL?

Considered that too. I am looking for more travel, maybe... need to get the BL and go put it through the ringer and then decide. It seems to be pretty badass as is.
  15. Add SAS Billsteins to a non-SAS BL?

This thread would say that isn't entirely true: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-2021-bronco-ride-lift-heights-with-wheel-tire-sizes.17719/
  16. Add SAS Billsteins to a non-SAS BL?

I have a non SAS Badlands on order. I've been looking at suspension differences between the SAS and non-SAS and am considering adding the SAS Billsteins to my non-SAS BL. I didn't get the SAS BL because I plan on pulling a trailer and didn't think 35s would be great for towing but would like the...
