Your rig looks good, I was out there in September with a basically stock Saquatch Badlands and had no issues with Finns and things and Hell's revenge. We got a guide from Outlaw Adventures and it was totally worth it!
Sort of. I just bought a new unit and reinstalled it myself. it still has quirks, but less often. I gave the old one to one of our technicians who's building a rat rod and he took apart the rear camera and found a loose wire/bad solder joint. I think the QC from brand motion is garbage. My...
I work for Ford and originally wanted a Lightning to replace my Model 3 and take advantage of my employee discount. But the timing wouldn't work out so I got a Bronco since it looked like I could have a different sort of fun with it. Then I took it out for the first time and did this...
I've got the RC Winch mount as well and did the same box relocation as @66GT .
I was worried about losing approach angle but it's well tucked back. I haven't had to pull anything with it, but I'll probably add @Tricky Mike 's frame horn upgrades just in case.
I'll have to check out the Echomaster then. I'm probably changing out my bumper and adding a tire carrier this year. So that seems like a good time to rerun the wires.
Great photos! I just did I god chunk of this trip myself in September. I'm jealous you were able to take the hike to Delicate Arch! Mesa Verde is under appreciated in my opinion. Really awe inspiring to see those 1000 year old buildings built by hand.
I highly recommend the LOD skid plate. Covers up those cross members nicely. I have it on my Bronco. Also I'd clean up that rust and put some spray enamel on there.
The LOD Light rock Sliders are aluminum with an option for a bolt on Steel Skid plate. It's not UHMW, but does let you change out the surface if you're worried. I can't say I've tested it extensively but I had no problem sliding with the destroyers.
@Bee Bop pulled this together for installing the Brand Motion Mirror(Which I have and Do Not recommend). Excellent walk trhough on how to take apart your trim: See this Post
Finns was fun, I see what they mean when it's called a rollercoaster, but Hell's had much more variety of obstacles and nothing felt unsafe with a good guide, especially since he had a Bronco as well and so I knew we could do it. Finns is by no means bad and was a lot of fun, but if I had to...
We did the full day tour. We only did Lower Finns for about an hour and spent the rest of the day on Hell's. You can probably do one or the other with the half day. Our Guide also took us on the new exit from Hell's that just opened last year and isn't in the guidebooks yet so it was pretty...
Sadly it looks like it's reduced but still happening. I'm also getting an issue where phone calls get this digital noise. If I switch to handset speaker and then back to the Bluetooth connection it clears, but then comes back.
I was just out there. There's plenty of Campgrounds on 128. As for tours we went with Outlaw Adventures. The guide was ahead of us in their Bronco and took us on Finns and Things and Hell's Revenge, we did it the day after the Off-Roadeo and it was fantastic, it'll show you just how much more...
