Well, it finally happened. My wife and I are ecstatic. We did discover an issue with the front passenger window being out of line and not sealing with the top, which creates a slapping of the glass. We are bringing it back to the dealership tomorrow to get it fixed. Otherwise, so far so good.
Latest update on our Bronco is “Actual Placement of Car” at 3:10 am this morning. After some searching, I understand this to be part of the final steps as this is now ready to be “Unloaded” and then the rail car will be “Released Empty” to be moved elsewhere.
The dealer is waiting for the...
My OrderTrack information for the Rail is also empty. Luckily chat was at least able to provide me with that.
Our Bronco rail car last checked in at Birmingham, AL around midnight last night. Feeling like it should be here by the end of the week.
I was able to get the rail car number that our Bronco is supposedly in. Using a phone number from another forum on here on tracking Norfolk Southern Corp., I was able to track it from Monroe, MI to Bellevue, OH yesterday.
Not a far ride in one day, so it must be picking up more cargo along...
4/6 Blend (4/8 Actual Blend). Tracker shows built today and awaiting shipment. Chat said 8/2 ETA. Dealer says 7/27-8/2 ETA.
Dealer did say he would go get from the rail yard though as soon as he knows it gets there.
No confirmation yet from Dealer on how windshield recall would be handled.
I’m pretty close to telling Ford to go fuck themselves honestly. I’ll buy a Jeep Wrangler for my wife instead and then trade in my F-150 for top dollar and get a Gladiator just to spite them at this point. This is the most bullshit way of doing business I’ve ever encountered.
Same situation here. I was 533/1100 for the 4/6 scheduled blend date and am now on plant hold for a microchip. As of last Thursday, my dealer was still showing an ETA of 4/28-5/4. even after I was told by chat our Bronco was on hold for a chip. However, Ford chat just confirmed for me as well...
You and I are in the same boat. I would have been much less annoyed had I known from the get that our Bronco was on a build hold than I am now having been told for the past 2 weeks it was "Produced" and awaiting shipment for an ETA of 4/28-5/4.; only now to be told that it has a hold. I'll be...
At this point I don’t believe anything anyone is saying. So, I guess I’ll just sit back, wait and see what happens come 4/28-5/4.
I am not even hopeful at this point. They really have done well at sucking the enjoyment out of this whole thing.
Chat says our Bronco is Primary Status: In Production, Secondary Status: Produced; but showing a Chip Hold and the dates 4/28-5/4 without stating what those dates actually pertain to.
I was a 4/6 Blend, which turned out to be a 4/8 Blend instead from what I can see. Last I heard from the Dealer and from Ford Chat is our Bronco is built with no holds and estimated to arrive at the dealer 4/28-5/4. The date on the bottom of my window sticker has gone from 4/6 to 4/13 and...
On top of chat saying our Bronco is produced, my MODs now also show a 4 digit alphanumeric Tear Tag.
So now we are just waiting on the formal built email which will hopefully also give an ETA on shipping/delivery.
