I would love windshield wipers that didn't slow down every 30 seconds during heavy rain. "Smart sensing wipers" is laughable: I've never worn out a windshield wiper motor.
Hey FoMoCo, lots of others have posted about this issue on this thread and you didn't ask for their information, myself included. Why the sudden interest in this serious safety concern. All I got from my dealer is the printout of the smart motor operation, they did not want to look at it. I...
Which dealer? My dealer told me they never heard of this issue and printed off the Ford message about their "smart" (dumb) sensing wiper motor. I'd love to get this dangerous issue taken care of before I get in or cause an accident.
First time driving in significant rain today and had this happen to me. I've used intermittent function prior to today and hadn't noticed any issues. Today, I put the wipers on low (continuous) and was driving on a 45mph road in moderate to heavy rain (enough to cover the windshield) and after...
It's a shame that with 30 years of advancement in technology and manufacturing, the new hardtops seem to be inferior to the one on my 1994 Bronco. Aren't things supposed to be "improved" with time and experience?
Sorry to hear about your house troubles. I agree with Black_Stallion13, if a few thousand dollars makes this purchase a strain on your finances, you were not in a financial position for buying a Bronco. The Bronco is a want, not a need. Take care of yourself, your family, and your house. If...
@Quitefrankly I find Tahuya to be very easy and great for those new to off-roading.; there are bypasses for most obstacles. You should be ok to venture out with your buddy, a map, and basic off-roading supplies.
Congrats on the Bronco. Not sure of your definition of "easy" as you referenced a couple of "roads" that I've not heard of. A lot of the roads for easy exploring are covered in snow this time of year. As for easy/beginner trail practice, Tahuya/Elfendahl is your best bet.
Thank you for that information. I just figured the dealer was profiting somehow; I had no idea it was Department of Revenue regulated. Would be nice if Ford would invoice the dealer at the price protected MSRP and do a charge back to the dealer without a name match. At least I now know that...
I haven't received mine yet, 1/20/23 blend date, but did call my dealer today to ask the same question. My dealer, in Washington, said they treat it as a "rebate" and deduct it off of the final price (post tax). I attempted to explain to my salesperson that this costs me an additional $365 in...
