I am hopeful the Bronco holds value like the Wrangler... but I am a bit nervous.
I have owned 3 JK's and 2 JL's, all Rubicon trims... I flipped them very two~three years because the trade-in values were so high.
And FYI, in the dealer world, mods offer no increased value... and in some cases...
Made the same mistake. I guess I should have read the entire thread before ordering.... and paid closer attention to the adapter and its vehicle compatibility. My bad. @JodyT , you may want to update your thread with the correct link.
It was a gamble that paid off. I didn't mind the stock SAS wheels, but wife wasn't a fan. I get more compliments on the wheels than the actual Bronco. I ordered these 703's directly from Ford as I wanted as close to stock offset as possible (not a fan of the wheel poke... and the resulting...
New in box (never installed) set of five black Advanced Wheel Locks.. $125 for local pick up (will ship for $8).
These took over 2 months to get from MFG... I'll ship to you within 24-hours.
Interesting... as even Goodyear describes the tread as "designed to help clear mud for traction..." And being that they sell a "Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT", one can assume that the MT is a mudder, and AT is jack of trades. And based on the aggressive tread pattern and my personal driving...
As a child of the 80's, I grew up with the dreaded swap-ass vinyl seats in the back of dad's wagon. It taught me a lesson... never will I have that material in any of my vehicles.
@CapeCodCash I've had mine on since May and while it is slightly easier than the day I put it on, it's still very difficult to do. A two person job. Thankfully, I have the running boards and it makes it much easier to do alone. And when you fold it back, you do need to pull on the middle part...
My expectation for the Territory (being that they are M/T's), they would be really loud. I was shocked to see how quiet they are. I had a set of BFG M/T's (KM2) on a Jeep and after a few thousand miles, those things would howl louder than the wind noise... great tire off-road; terrible on.
I have no personal experience with the Falkens... but the reviews are glowing. I have been researching tires a lot lately, and I've come to the conclusion that the GY Territory are not that bad of a tire (my only gripe is the soft turn-in...and they are no louder than my KO2's I ran on my...
This is a take-off from our 1,500 mile Bronco. In near new condition... all windows are in great shape, canvas perfect. ALL HARDWARE and brackets come with the top... it will be 100% ready to install.
I am also including:
IAG EZ-Lift Soft top assist system. FULLY INSTALLED and ready to...
Jim saw what a shitshow Mary created when she made the announcement of GM's future cars not having CP nor AA. And without saying it, he admitted Sync is garbage too. This was a very smart move by Ford. GM's tactic is merely a money grab for "subscriptions" that will fail. How successful was...
Thanks Tommy... before Bronco I had many Wrangers...and Bestop just did a phenomenal job on those tops. I am not a huge fan of the pivoting back window and the 'bacon' side windows. I would miss the full recline, but I use the sunrider 90% of the time.
100% agree. The one-up-manship is good for all of us. I'll never understand those that come in to these threads to shit on the Wrangler... were it not for the it's success, we may not have the beloved Bronco as we see it today.
The biggest miss here is the Pentastar lives on. Sure, it was...
If the shop used the proper softener in the paint (specific for plastic parts that can flex) and prep, it should not crack outside of extreme circumstances ...like contact with a tree on the trail.
Quite the opposite for us. Prior to Bronco we've had five wranglers... four of which had the dual top group. And storing/swapping the tops every season proved to be a big pain in the ass. So we opted for the softie on the Bronco. It's perfectly quiet and comfortable even on the coldest of...
