There are so many issue here its hard to parse - the fact that I got as far as I did before it failed on my dealer not taking online reservations shows they have no idea what they are doing and did not walk through the flow before launch. This is amateur hour.

BS - you are damage control for FORD - as a software developer I am fully aware at all the sticking points and none of this holds water - the site is down, they did not test it before and this kind of crap is purely amateur hour. No amount of BS can take away that fact.

1 hour and still down Ford needs to issue an apology that's honest and not some BS "due to high demand" excuse. None of this is excusable in 2020 and frankly, you had way more time than you needed to get it right. I am certain exec's over at FCA are laughing their asses off.

This should read: Due to the fact that we are amateurs and could not scale cloud compute, we are not able to serve up a basic website ordering system. Please come back later when we pulled our heads out of our asses and figured out its 2020.

Thanks, but this was easily avoided by scaling up before the launch and running load/perf to validate. Folks did not do their job, at a normal software company people would be packing up their offices. Amateur hour. As a Ford shareholder I am not pleased.

Nothing because the site was poorly done and it is F****** broken. What an epic fail. First VW shows us how to do software wrong on the ID.3, now Ford shows the world how to do a website.
