And the drive mode dials for both driver and passenger.
  2. GMC Jimmy is under development

My mom had one of the little ones from 1984. It had the wimpy 2.8l V6 and a 5 speed manual transmission. It only lasted a few years when she traded it in for a GMC Sierra 1500 regular cab short bed 4x4 pickup.
  3. No V-6 Two Doors??

My sister and I were stuffed into a pinto for a few months as well, along with our little beagle, Queenie. My parents traded the Pinto in for a Bronco soon after the Pinto's started exploding. The Bronco took us on many family vacations, during the 70's, camping in the U.P. and Northern...
  4. Bronco Pickup Could have been Great

I own two of these. A '95 and a '98. The only new pickup truck I'd consider buying would be one of either of these, maybe both.
  5. Article: My Name Is Sal Gusmano, and I Break Ford Vehicles for a Living (at Michigan Proving Grounds)

This is such a great story and brings up some of my fondest memories. I grew up in the 70's on 36 mile Road across from the proving grounds, right across from the big white barns on the north side of the grounds. My parents had a Bronco and our neighbor, Ricky Shapman had a Chevy Blazer. Back...
  6. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

My grandfather owned a blue and white Jeep FC van. He was a share crop farmer and a carpenter. The van was his tool van. They might just be the rarest of all Jeeps.
  7. Michigan owners, registration question

Yes, the state of Michigan classifies the Bronco as a station wagon. Same with a jeep wrangler.
  8. The Future of the 2-Door Bronco?

Many people don't understand how CAFE regulatons effect what products auto manufacturers produce. It is currently a convoluted set of rules that favor larger vehicles. It is what led to the demise of the station wagon, short wheel base pickup trucks, and recently sedans in the North American...
  9. Best State To Live and Off-Road?

Michigan is awful, please don't move here.
  10. Built my own old school Heritage Edition Bronco

Very nice. Reminds me of my parents '69 arcadian blue bronco. Looking forward to seeing it wit the paint flares and top.
  11. 2 raptors in Port Huron today - Iconic Silver & Hot Pepper Red

Interesting, I wonder if they make it up to north Michigan. Thanks for the info.
  12. 2 raptors in Port Huron today - Iconic Silver & Hot Pepper Red

Wonder why they are in Port Huron. That area is not known much for off roading except for maybe some bombing through the farm fields. Or maybe they were on their back from wheeling in Canada.
  13. 2023 Ranger

I doubt it will be available with a 6' bed. I'm sure Ford will only offer it in the crew cab configuration with the tiny 5' bed.
  14. 2023 Ranger

Except it won't be very small. Well, I guess it will have the tiny bed.
  15. Will Jeep switch to IFS in the Wrangler?

The newly developed Ineos Grenadier has a sfa. If you watch their development videos of the undercarriage and suspension you will see that they modeled them after the Jeep Wrangler. They even used the Dana axles and mopar steel wheels on their prototypes.
  16. 2 door Bronco Pick Up Rendering

I dont' have photoshop skills but I can sketch. Regular cab Bronco Pickup with bench seat and a 6 foot divorced bed. I wouldn't even care if they called it a Ranger.
  17. 2023 Bronco Pickup Rendering

Oh ya, I forgot about the Chevy Luv truck. I had regular cab short bed S10's. An '86, '88, and still have my '94 ZR2. I did the sketch this morning based off a sketch of the 4 door Bronco. It's the same premise that the Mopar designers came up with for the J6. Build a versatile small...
