Keeping the steelies was my very 1st option for a long time so I looked into this quite a bit. At one time i was thinking of true 33"s on the steelies, 255/85/16, but the selection is limited. Also considered 32's, 235/85/16 or 265/75/16.

Mickey Thompson Classic III, 17"x9" Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/70/17 So overall 33", and no lift. I don't plan to do a lot of off roading; probably just some sketchy dirt backroads and sand, but a lift would probably be wise if tackling more intense terrain

Thank you for these pics! I ordered a eruption green base 2-door about a month ago, and I am pretty much sold on getting the top wrapped white. I think with the steelies and some white vinyl overlays on the grill letters, I'll be able to pull together a nice retro look.
