I believe the Explorer has a 3.58:1 rear end. All I can say is my truck has the 6.2L with 4.30:1 gears it feels like a plug after driving the Explorer.

Been lurking for a while but thought I should share this. I got tired of waiting and bought my wife a new Ford Explorer ST. I own two early broncos and definitely love my V8’s but that 3.0 in the Explorer is crazy! I think it would be plenty for the new broncos. Way more power than I expected...
