I wanted over a year before I gave in, but I found a high end car wash that has done a good job. I still wash it myself most of the time, but 1-2 times a year to keep salt off it and its been fine.

Yes. Installation was very easy, and that was including installation of the clips which is a one time deal. Should be very easy to uninstall and reinstall next year.
