Ahh maybe loaded is what folks are referring too? That is an inch under rated size. Maybe the side walls being c rated causes more loaded sag than the others.
That would explain everyone saying the are are shorter.
Thanks for those pictures
While I certainly understand the American "these 37's are not actually 37's" idea you're discussing here, I am not sure that is what the folks are saying. I mean I suppose it could be, but in almost any thread in the forums you read where folks talk about the k02's, they say they run smaller...
Yea I'm at a loss here as to why folks say they run small. By spec anyway, it would appear all the majors seem to run spot on.
I had originally strayed away from the K02's because of this "size issue", but now I'm looking at them again since they are the only C load option out there I can...
Looking into my 37" options, and I read over and over again how BFG K02's run smaller. But looking at actual specs, per manufacturer specs, the K02's have a diameter of 36.5, Nitto Recon Grapplers are 36.54, Ridge Grapplers are 36.77, Toyo Open Country AT3 are 36.5.
So where is the size diff...
Yea agreed on all points. In hindsight, if I had to do it again, I would've just went with a badlands and replaced the suspension. But given I have the fox setup, I'm having issues justifying replacing it. Feels like wasting money. So I'm hopeful someone will come up with a viable solution...
Yea I hear the same. Maybe it's because 8m a racecar and buggy 4x4 guy and very in tune with the way my vehicles feel\sound, or maybe something's weird about my collars, who knows.
Yea fox, factory 35's still. 36ish #.
Like I said, on road, zero changes, but when I cross railroad tracks or go...
See now I disagree. I put on the 3\2.25 perch collars and I absolutely noticed a ride difference ..at least with bumps. Railroad tracks, speed bumps\rough road I can absolutely feel and hear a difference in the suspension. Regular pavement\highway driving, sure, no difference.
That being said...
Basically yea for the majority. As far as the "Russian software" well pretty much EVERY Ford owner who tweaks these things uses said software, and has been for years, and years, and years.
If you'd like to take off the tinfoil hat for a bit, you can do lots of good things with it. If not, well...

No I got signal fine, my issue was trying to get the signal across all 6 channels on the lc7i. I got it figured out a while ago though. Ended up tapping the front kick panel in via 1-2 then just bridged all the way across to 5-6
Did you do RPG collars or the RC SAS lift people say work? I have my wheels already (17x9 +0), but opted to just toss the factory 35's back on until I can decide how to lift it. I really don't want to add preload with the collars, but I am getting impatient waiting for someone, anyone to...
"Not that wheel width doesn't matter"
I never suggested it didn't, but in terms of a 8.5 vs a 9.0, which is what he was referring too, multiple factions, including RPG themselves said both the 8.5 and 9.0 will fit without rubbing on 35's or 37's provided both are at 0 offset with appropriate...
