I've only had to replace a windshield a couple times since I try to catch a chip quickly and get it fixed, but one of the times after a hard rain I had a wet foot well. It had to go back and they tried fixing it with more crap around the windshield which did not work. They finally had to pull it...
Yes, but this also effect the Ranger and they have been building that since December 2018. Seems like they are going backwards. How many years have they been gluing in windshields? 40-50 years? This should not be an issue. Then you have people like me who only have one vehicle. What if the...
I came into this thread awhile back to try and figure out what was going on with the shipping delay on my 2022 Ranger Tremor built this week. I just wanted you all to know I finally took delivery today. Thanks to all my Bronco brothers and sisters for giving me some support during the very long...
I'm almost positive the Bronco runs a live axle system like the Ranger. There are no disconnecting vacuum hubs like the F-150. The front drive system is connected and spinning at all times. It is just disconnected at the transfer case in 2H. Correct me if anyone knows something different.
Since our trucks are traveling on the same train it'll be interesting who gets theirs first. You in Colorado or me up in South Dakota. Mine has to be trucked a lot further from the rail yard, but as we have seen that makes no difference.
If the Bronco does well in the small and moderate overlap IIHS tests it'll get a 5 star rating once the NHTSA runs it flat into a wall which is actually an easier test. IIHS gives the roof strength a good and that is important although it's rare to not have a good rating on that these days.
I...
I probably shouldn't have said 100% and said "usually" the internal order tracking system is the most reliable. Once it starts moving I'm sure miscommunication can happen.
I thought I would pass along a little info that I learned from chatting with an actual Ford employee. We all get upset with Ford when our vehicles are not shipping and think someone there has to know more, but in fact, outside of their internal order track they probably don't. Reason being is...
Have you tried chatting up Ford customer service lately? I was doing it every couple days, but lost interest. Maybe if something changed on the tracker something changed on the internal system? I'm just trying to give some hope.
I kinda feel bad for the employees of the shipping companies on Apr. 21st. Ford seems to tell everyone who still has not shipped they are either shipping them on the 21st or they will be delivered on the 21st. They really like that date or at least their computer does.
I don't know who else is hoping for a train out of MAP headed west, but in my chat today they claimed my truck will be shipped on April 21st. Am I sceptical? Yes. 100% but we'll see.
Just texted my salesman to see if anything changed... Still Delay - Rail Carrier. Going to be 5 weeks Thursday. I think this could go on for a couple more months at this point. I just don't know.
My salesman actually gets my emails because when they ordered it they used his email address. He does text me when he does though, but it's never good news. It'll be 5 weeks for me on Thursday and pretty discouraging.
