    just checked through Ford chat and they said my build is scheduled for 6/25 (rather than “week of whatever”) is this set in stone or is a specific build date prone to being moved back?

    yep. normal chat...I had to wait 20 or so minutes to connect to someone. gave them my order code and they responded with my VIN and scheduled build week. it was pretty painless

    no email but reached out through chat. I thought I had ordered on 2/11/22 but my order date says 2/22/22 so I'll blame my dealership for that. Oh well, at least I have a VIN orange 4 door big bend mid package

    anyone hear about getting a build date this week? my dealer said 3-6 months when I ordered on 2/11 but I'm worried that if I don't get a build scheduled this week then I'm going to be waiting a long time

    fwiw the user from the dealership later said that they were wrong about the scheduling. the 26 Broncos they thought were going to get scheduled were actually the ones that are next in the queue and they have to wait until the next round of scheduling so I think broadly the OP is right in that...

  10. I think I got gouged on the extended warranty

    I've always believed that dealerships wouldn't offer warranties if they didn't make money off of them. Which means if they're making money, I'm losing money. Conservation of mass and energy and all that

  11. Are there particular features that push new builds to Ice/Dirt/whatever mountain? Or is it the unluck of the draw?

    I'm not too worried about getting selected for build (my dealer predicted I'd get mine in 3-6 months when I ordered) but more it being selected, built and then sitting on X Mountain waiting for some fantastical microchip

  12. Why are you choosing 2 or 4 door Bronco? Which will have better resale value?

    I got a 4 door because 2 doors are just annoying. I don't have any kids but I like to be able to easily carry other passengers. 2 door cars only make sense for high end sport cars

    From my understanding the Broncos on x mountain are waiting on microchips. Are these particular microchips for a particular feature? I have a order I'm waiting on to even be scheduled at this point (ordered 2/11/22). It's a mid package Big Bend which I know doesn't have any build constraints...

    where does the OP source their info from? I saw someone who allegedly works at a dealer say that they're getting 26 Bronco orders scheduled this week so Broncos ARE getting scheduled despite the link in OP claiming they're not:
