x3 brand new in box 52-INCH ELITE SERIES LED LIGHT BAR | DUAL ROW. Normally $440 asking $200 because these are taking up too much room in my house. I also have x1 wiring harness for the first person that wants it. I can meet face to face if in SW Ohio or can ship on buyer dime I will use pirate...
I have 3 DV8 52” dual row light bars brand new in box asking $300 per bar these are 440 from DV8 selling them because I literally don’t have the space for these anymore. All kept in great shape in original packaging I’m willing to ship if needed.
Final update. We now have working steps. The issue was the wiring harness it would appear. We plugged the new harness they sent and they’re now working great it’s been two days and are still working as they should with all options (lights and door deletes) I want to thank RSE and the community...
Hey man so I’m out on vacation for the time being but we narrowed it down to one of two things. A fault In the wiring harness (the most likely cause). This was found by checking the 12 pin plug on the black/ blue wire and the red wire and seeing a low/ no power output and determining that there...
Actually no warranty on my end because they’re out of date on the warranty end but they’re still standing behind their product which is nice to see. Hopefully the harness is the solution to the issue. (If I was a betting man my money would be on it) so we’ll hopefully see in a few days provided...
trouble shooting done for the night and final call to RSE placed we think we have it dialed into a faulty harness. The multimeter was not showing enough power output to the driver side plugs (black and red wires on the 12 pin plug) after speaking with RSE they were kind enough to agree to send...
Update number 2. I just spoke with the guys at RSE. They give me a couple troubleshooting steps on testing to make sure I’m getting power to the step from the harness they believe that may be the issue. They said if I am receiving proper power from the harness, then it is likely the circuitboard...
So trouble shooting was finally done today after the rain cleared up. I went out and verified all wires under driver side step were snugged and secured, I even tried the suggested magnetic tips even though I didn’t think that was the culprit. Upon trying magnets the passenger side worked...
I was thinking it could possibly be a harness issue as the capacitor plug in was noticeably more difficult to plug in then the passenger side and then when following the q&a portion of the install guide I dropped the step and applied direct power to the non functional side and it was working...
Ohhh that could definitely explain it. Would you suggest finishing the install with the magnets and then applying power And opening the doors to test functionality?
That’s what I figured as well. We put it to a multi meter to both the driver and passenger and both sides read zero which was weird considering the passage was functional
Just to clarify. Was your issue the steps not dropping or not rising? Because I maybe mistaken but I thought with a lack of magnetic sensing it would effect the steps not rising when you want them to rise not my issue of not doing anything at all.
I haven’t gotten to the point of putting the magnets on yet on the install. We were following the motoroso video and in the video after putting the sliders on ( and before doing any of the interior stuff like the magnets) you put the fuse in the harness to let the steps calibrate. My passenger...
I appreciate the reply I’ll double check the wiring to be sure but think it’s all good on my end I’m worried it maybe the circuit board but we’ll see on Monday when I give them a call.
Hey guys. I have recently installed some RSE 4 door steps on my 21 bronco and got as far into the motoroso install video where you place the fuse inline and the steps are supposed to function check themselves. The passenger side functions as expected by going down and up once but there is no...
