  1. Area 51, To Choose or Not to Choose.

I've heard that from the few folks that have had a Bronco in Antimatter Blue. I thought about Cactus Gray as well but for my tastes it's too (and I apologize for not a better word) but dull. I say that and I loved the Concrete color that Toyota's have. (Ironic I know). I think I will end up...
  2. Area 51, To Choose or Not to Choose.

With the news that Antimatter Blue was discontinued for '22 and beyond, i've been having a hard time deciding on what color I want to order whenever the ordering opens up. I had my heart set on the Antimatter Blue and have been going back and forth between Carbonized Gray and Cyber Orange...
  3. 37” tire rubbing modifications

Their big tire kit is a replacement crash bar kit. It's made to be thinner but still allow to maintain the crash bars. https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/4-wheel-parts-big-tire-kit-62213/_/R-4WPBR-62213
  4. 37” tire rubbing modifications

The only thing I don't like about this kit is having to cut the front piece off. I like the fact that allows a lot of clearance but worry about the strength of having the mount just bolted on to the side of the frame vs being a part of the frame. Probably worry too much but just something that...
  5. First Edition 2-door build

Man, I really want the lightning blue but seeing the used prices has me. 😲 I'll probably settle for the Carbonized Gray or something else.
  6. First Edition 2-door build

What color is yours? Is it the Lightning Blue or the Velocity Blue?
  7. Which 3" lift kit to go with?

One of the main things that scares me about these non new knuckle lifts is the angle of not only the tie rod but the CV angle. The spring perch lifts and spacer lifts don't solve the CV angle.
  8. Self install Zone leveling kit?

Is the 1in lift just the strut spacer? If so it's not bad at all. I've installed one with my buddy on his 2012 F150 and it was fairly easy. Seems to be fairly similar install.
  9. Rough Country 5” Lift Kit for Bronco

When I bought my Rancho lift in '14 for my F150, Rough Country had a horrible reputation. I've heard the last few years they have really worked to improve their products. Question for the dude above, what else is there for lifts? Literally every lift is a diff drop, that's how you compensate...
  10. What an hr and a couple beers can do! (Continually updating!)

I saw that you are going to be doing the Spring Perch Lift. I saw a picture on Instagram showing a Bronco with their spring perch lift and the CV angle it makes has me less than satisfied. I know Rough Country's lift offers a diff drop but wonder if it'll just force the cv angle to go the other way.
  11. Bad_Bronco Exterior pics that disappeared in the Web.....

How did you make the border? I love the red, looks really clean.
  12. Bad_Bronco Exterior pics that disappeared in the Web.....

Love the build. I was on the fence about whether I wanted a 4 door or 2 door but now I see the 2 door and glad I don't fit in the 4 door. haha. The bucking Bronco and Bronco logo on the tailgate, did you make them?
  13. 2 Door for Taller Driver

As someone said below, weight does have a difference as I am 6'5 almost 6'6 and about 375. So I am not thin by any means but really only carry it in my mid section. I have a friend who is my height and about 300 and has the same complaints I do for the 4 door. He's getting the 2 door as I am.
  14. 2 Door for Taller Driver

Is your seat all the way back? Reason I ask is, the B pillar had me pretty tight in there and my knee/leg was hitting the plastic that sticks out by the climate control area. Attached picture for reference. I'm wondering if the seat wasn't all the way back because I know it was at it's lowest...
  15. 2 Door for Taller Driver

I think the 2 door is the way to go for me. I really wanted the 4 door for the extra room but I don't want to buy it and regret it
  16. 2 Door for Taller Driver

That's ok for me. I'm single with no kids so I could use the extra room. Thank You for that info, specially someone around our size that may need the backseat.
  17. 2 Door for Taller Driver

I was a lot more comfortable in the 2 door, I want to go and sit in it again and verify I was comfortable. I hear ya on the comfort. I daily drive an F150 Crew Cab and it's awesome for space.
  18. 2 Door for Taller Driver

Haha. All are welcome. I have a friend who is your height, he's a bodybuilder so he has massive legs and his leg hits the same spot my leg does in his normal driving position. So I know at least i'm not alone in my nitpickiness. haha
  19. 2 Door for Taller Driver

The Bronco they had a MIC top 4 door. Part of the reason it was uncomfortable was my knee/leg was hitting the plastic piece that sticks out towards the bottom of the climate controls. I twas right in the spot I normally rest my leg. For me it's really more nitpicky than anything but I figure if...
  20. 2 Door for Taller Driver

I had the seat all way back and the seat all the way down. I also daily drive an F150 and my truck has a ridiculous amount of room. So I might be spoiled by that too haha.
