I have the ICON Stage 3 kit installed on my Badlands with 37x12.5x17 KO2s and 17x9 0 offset wheels. I have zero complaints. Mine is a manual with the 4.70 gears and I like the overall gearing better with the 37s on it than stock with the 33s on it (first gear actually felt too short stock)...
I have noticed it as well with the factory roof rack/rails. Seems direction dependent as well....by that I mean compass heading your vehicle is facing.
Whatever you get, set it back to STOP or however it is marked at the bottom of the scale. Don't leave it on 120 lb/ft and put it away. They stay calibrated MUCH longer when you treat them right.
I went with the Icon Rebound Pros with the Titanium colored finish on them. Many reasons, being very easy to clean among them. I put K02s (37s) and they are fantastic. Almost no noise and just aggressive looking enough for me. I have the 4.7 gears and they work well with the 37s, would be...
I ended up removing the driver side inner fender liner and that made the job MUCH easier. Can probably be done without removing the fender liner, but its probably faster to just go ahead and do it. It really isn't much work to remove and I was kicking myself for not installing the catch can...
A long time ago I was a tech at a dealership. Someone left a 6-pack of cola cans on the back seat when they dropped off their car for service. It was middle of summer. When I opened that car up, every single square inch of interior was spray-coated. Roofliner included.
Plenty of us know your pain. I was right at the 26 month mark from reservation to delivery. Unfortunately, it showed up at the dealer on a Sunday, I found out my Dad passed away the next day, and I picked it up on Tuesday. I kinda didn't even care that I finally got it at that point. Now...
Maybe apples to oranges. I don't have any experience with the poly bushings in the tubular UCAs. That being said, I don't have any positive experiences with poly bushings in other applications either.
FWIW, I installed the Icon Stage 3 kit on my Bronco myself. I am not having any issues. One thing I remember from the installation is applying anti-seize on the metal spacers that fit into the shock ends. The shock bolt then goes through the spacers and the shock ends if that makes sense. It...
Zero rubbing with this wheel/tire combo. No trimming, just removed the crash bars in the front. I did get the spacers that go on the rear coilovers and will install them soon. They just limit the up-travel by about 3/8 of an inch or so and it only matters in extreme situations where the tire...
Selling take-off Badlands Bilstein coilovers. These have ~300 miles on them. Asking $700. Also have optional Badlands wheels/tires w/TPMS sensors available and asking $2500 for everything.
I may be taking delivery of my Bronco today (finally) and am pulling the optional badlands wheels/tires/coilovers off and replacing them probably this weekend.
