  1. Wheel came off from slight swerve on flat pavement

Definitely looks like a casting quality issueā€¦that supplier is going to be busy certifying material and writing a corrective action in the very near future!
  2. 2022 order, no vin number yet?

Iā€™m near Windsor as well; once you get your VIN and have your order number and dealer number you can use the tracker app on this website to get updates (edit: looks like the order track app doesnā€™t work any longer). After your Bronco is built and shows itā€™s awaiting shipping you can go on the...
  3. Upgrading the 2.3 oil filter

I ordered one of these - works on all the most common late-model Ford filters https://www.motivxtools.com/products/mx2374-us
  4. Audio upgrade now warning chimes are insane

Also have this issue after installing a Kicker Key amp in my wifeā€™s ā€˜22. I have not yet resolved it. Hopefully somebody chimes in..
  5. Delivery Times?

Cassens is the convoy carrier to Ontario out of the Bronco plant; you can go on their website and enter your info to see the status. There is a shortage of truckers; it took them ~ a couple of weeks to pick mine up once it showed Awaiting Shipping on the order tracker site but once they did it...
  6. 2022 Forscan

I meant for the official (Windows) released version. 2.3.48 was released back in June; based on the timing of previous releases it shouldnā€™t be too long before they update to .49, which supposedly will work for us. There is another thread in here where someone mentioned they were sent a link...
  7. 2022 Forscan

Or you can wait for the next release of Forscan, supposedly itā€™s fixed (this is based on feedback from others who have received a beta version).
  8. Washington WTS: Badlands non-SAS rims (5) - $400 (no tires, just the rims)

Great price, wish you were closer. Shipping to Detroit would be pricey ā˜¹ļø
  9. Beware Loose Driveshaft Bolts

If the line control system is any good, it would ensure things like this are either finished (tightened), or it would flag the vehicle as non-conforming so it could go to the repair bay to be resolved. Iā€™ve worked as a manufacturing engineer for 18 years supplying Ford and GM with various...
  10. Beware Loose Driveshaft Bolts

Do any dealers actually put vehicles on a hoist and check various fastener torques as part of PDI any more? Beyond maybe lug nuts, Iā€™d be surprised much else gets checked. Remove the plastic, check the oil, wash it and send it out the door.
  11. 4500 mile 2.3 7MT DIY oil change first impression

Just FYI, every fuel injected Ford going back to the late 80ā€™s will not start if your foot is holding the throttle pedal to the floor during crank; this isnā€™t new to the Bronco.
  12. F150 Lightning 2023 Build and Price is up and prices are way up

When I was picking up our Bronco at my dealer recently, the salesman and I got talking about the Lightning - the first thing he said was ā€˜I donā€™t know who the h*ll is going to buy these things at this priceā€™. Hereā€™s Canadian pricing on a loaded up Platinum. Add to this our 13% tax and you are...
  13. Ford Tech says Blown T-Case is owners fault for using 4A on Dry Pavement

I purchased one of these off Amazon. Itā€™s a manual pump but it has a switch to allow for extraction or dispensing of various fluids. I use it mostly for transmission fluid but it could be used for coolant, gearboxes or engine oil...
  14. DIY Spark plugs resulted in P0353

You said you smelled fuel and now youā€™re going to drive it to the dealer. Personally I would just call them and tell them to come pick it up. Also, driving with a mis-fire could ruin your catalyst.
  15. DIY Spark plugs resulted in P0353

Bring a fire extinguisher with youā€¦
  16. Another seat mismatch from Ford

Putting vehicles on the line when parts arenā€™t available didnt used to happenā€¦then came covid and the global supply train wreck that ensued. Now thereā€™s a whole mountain of vehicles parked waiting on parts. Definitely not an ideal way to do business, but shutting down a profit centre for months...
  17. Another seat mismatch from Ford

I believe the seats are in-line vehicle sequenced at the supplier so this is most likely a mis-queue on their endā€¦Ford will hit them up for a corrective action and a nice charge back. As someone else mentioned, it would be hard to tell the difference with the plastic on the seats at the plant.
  18. Connecticut ON HOLD- Set of 5 standard Badlands wheels and tires including TPMS sensors

Ugh 11 hour drive, wish you were closer to meā€¦been looking for a set of these and you have them priced right! GLWS.
  19. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? šŸ‘ØšŸ»‍šŸ”§šŸ§°šŸšæšŸ›

Spent the day doing paint correction (not sure what the dealer washed it with during PDI but it was quite scratched), then applied pre-cut film to the hood, bottom of doors, door sills and roll bars, followed by ceramic coating the entire thing. Turned out pretty nice.
  20. Who hates their 10spd besides me?

2.3L auto in oursā€¦ when we first picked it up from the dealer (with only 20 miles on it) the shifts were quite rough. I recall commenting about it to my wife during our initial drive. I was driving it again last night (now has ~ 700 miles on it) and it is much smoother. Pretty happy with the...
