Nice review! The soft top was really a fumble on Fords part. Those savgy windows are really ugly. Also interesting you think the Wrangler has a bad soft top. I have a soft top on my JL and think itās one of the best on the market. It definitely has more road noise then a hard top, but the...
Iāll wave to anyone who looks they put a lot of work into their vehicle. Dedication and hard work should be complimented. Itās also a lifestyle and thereās enough gatekeeping and nonsense in the world as it is.
Bronco owners may also end up joining the exclusive cracked windshield club, which I...
I doubt youād have that issue. My Jeep is a 2018 and bought it for 46k. KBB says I could sell it for 43k to a private party. You could basically only pay a couple grand more for a new Bronco a few years down the line and have something to enjoy while you wait. š
Nowadays itās much harder to change interior lighting. Most buttons and instrument clusters are LED which involves diodes being soldered to the boards. Itās possible, to change these out for different colors, but would require someone with extreme experience and in the end would not be worth it...
On vacation in Kentucky and saw a Cyber Orange Bronco Badlands. Iāve gotta say Ford did a real nice job with the Bronco. Currently got a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU and it was nice comparing the two. I will say the Bronco feels like a much larger vehicle. Donāt know if this one had the Sasquatch...
Mine on my JL are like a slide in channel. Maybe thatās patented, so thatās why Ford couldnāt do it, but I feel like zippers would have been better than clips. Even people with JLs have had problems with windows blowing out because they arenāt securd tightly to the body. Guess weāll just have to...
They finally made a video about it after a certain thread was posted. ;)
I can honestly say that the soft top on my JL is better. That lift up feature is pretty cool, but the rest of the top just looks cheap and clunky. The JL top folds down flatter and in mine, it still blocks my rearward...
Itās absolutely ridiculous that Ford has still not released images or videos of things like the soft top function and removal of tops. They gotta stop showing us those stupid Bronco screws and show us something thatāll actually make me buy their vehicle.
I have a JL and I can say that the Bronco has it beat in several areas.
Bronco:
-The doors are much easier to remove.
-No obnoxious sound bar that is a nuisance for tall people.
-Modular hard top makes it easier to remove.
-Bigger screen, although the Wrangler will probably get the bigger...
Thatās a part of the branding to get regular people to buy the vanilla models. āLook what you can do, but wonāt.ā Iām saying this isnāt anything new for Jeep and they arenāt imitating Ford. They only realized that this could possibly help sell more and compete.
True, the earlier Wranglers did it, but they didnāt sell well. Who would want to pay for another set of doors, or only have half doors from the factory.
Not really a new thing and not really copying the Bronco. Just motivated by it. Jeepās been teasing them since the donut doors of the launch event. Personally I think theyāre kinda pointless. The whole point is to take the entire door off. Otherwise Iād just get tube doors.
