OK, got the supports, rounded, cleaned up, painted and installed. Really solid now!
Learned a lot from this little project, I consider these prototypes but I'm very happy with them.
If anyone wants to tackle this on their own feel free to message me with any questions, id be happy to help.
@thedrdonna Finally got around to adding some support to stop the vibration.
What i ended up doing was getting a piece of 1/8 Aluminum Flat Bar from Homedepot, it was around 12 bucks.
After cutting to an approximate length, drilling mounting holes, and bending/twisting so it all lined up, I...
Update: I was not happy with components in the REAR pods so i ordered a set of Rockford Fosgate R1675X2 Two ways.
Definitely improved overall sound from previous configuration.
Current setup is:
Front kick panel and dash - Rockford Fosgate R1675-S Components...
The paint i used is Rust-Oleum Hammered Flat Black, it tuned out more of a dark grey, i would have liked it a bit more black but i think it looks pretty good.

I used Metra 82-5609 Tweeter Mounting Brackets. They come without the cutout for tweeter, so you have to cut holes for the size you need, but other than that they fit in the dash perfect. Also they came with the free install kit when i ordered the speakers from Crutchfield...
It was finally time to upgrade the horrendous base audio in my '22 2-door, and while I've seen so many really well thought out and amazing upgrades on this forum, I decided to be a bit different and install some modest Rockford Fosgate 6.75 Components in the front and rear.
Front:
I used a...
Thanks for all the info, unfortunately my order that was supposed to be here today was delayed until the 22nd. Oh well, more time to focus on getting speaker pods build for the rears!
Since it shouldn't take too much effort I think ill try both wiring the tweeters directly to the kick panel...
Firstly, Thank you @RagnarKon, your guide/video is amazing, thank you again!
I picked up a set of Rockford Fosgate R1675-S to replace my front kick panel and dash speakers. The R1675-S are component speakers without a crossover. I'm trying to figure out the best configuration in software and...
6K (not 6Million lol, thanks for pointing that out Tex) on my '22 2 Door Base, 6speed, 2.3L
1. Having to turn off the engine auto start stop every time (i know there is a product i can buy but still.) Should be a way to change the default to off.
2. Pressing OK to "Return to Eco Mode" every...
I have a 2 door as well, i'm curious what exactly the differences are. Does anyone know if its a difference to how they mount to the roof bar or a difference to how they mount to the C pillar.
I clarified my post to avoid confusion. Most of us here are still waiting for that promotion price, so I hope you are correct.
I really like the design of the SSV Works option, looks more compact and i like the ability to use speaker grills, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Still a...
The "SSV Option", i didn't know existed, Having said that, the more i look at them the more i really like the design, still a bit expensive imo. Also the $170 USD price you referenced was a "promotion" price that its now over and few if any on this forum were able to take advantage of.
A link...
Not sure if "priced fairly" is accurate until we have offerings from other manufactures. Its reminiscent of when aftermarket Bronco tow hitches came out, $150-200 USD was touted as "priced fairly" now most hover around $70-90 USD. Ultimately i think it comes down to, can we wait for offerings...
Been waiting for these to be available to purchase for what seems like forever, but now that they are out im a little bit disappointed in the price. I understand the cost of R&D, tooling, refining the manufacturing process, shipping to the US, etc, and healthy profits on a product are...

Having this very same issue, played the video for my wife and she asked me "did you record the noise your Bronco has been making and post it". Sounds exactly like mine does.
I'll try and video mine tomorrow and add it to this forum.
