  1. Rattling Bypass Control Valve/Wastegate Actuator

Wanted to put this out there for those of you experience a rattling noise when the turbo engages on your Broncos. After several dealer visits (including a ride-along) of them telling me they "can't hear anything", I've decided to just fix it myself. See the video below of the "problem that...
  2. Top 4 Mickey Thompson Baja Tires

Just got the Baja Boss AT's and they are KILLING IT so far! šŸ˜
  3. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah my ā€œservice techniciansā€ at my dealer claim to not be able to hear it. Even my service advisor did a ride along and couldnā€™t hear it. Just gonna leave it be for now and try to fix it myself later.
  4. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Only noticed a popping sound when revving in park but thereā€™s no boost so idk. I know enough but not all the intricacies of turbos.
  5. Looking for folks to wheel with!

    Awesome! Thanks for the tip.
  6. Looking for folks to wheel with!

I hadn't heard of them! I just applied to the group. šŸ˜
  7. Looking for folks to wheel with!

Hey all, I'm in a bunch of Florida-based Bronco groups on FB but none of them seem to be too active in the way of wheeling events right now. Most seem to be just doing meetups/hangouts. My previous group disbanded and no one is really interested in wheeling it seems, which is a huge bummer. I'm...
  8. Cheap interior, build quality for $70k

My brother in Christ you bought a Ford.
  9. UPDATE: Photos to show color match of top/trim. My Turn Offroad Hardtop: Pics and Initial Impressions.

Looks great! Thank you for the detailed review. This seems so much higher quality than the Rally Tops hard top for not that much more. Can't wait to get rid of my soft top.
  10. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Interesting. Iā€™ll definitely look into Lucas Red. Canā€™t say for certain on the arm pin. I have, however, considered buying a new wastegate assembly from Ford or somewhere else and installing it myself at this point. šŸ™ƒ
  11. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah the sound is very annoying. No performance loss. Iā€™ve just never driven a turbo car that has that rattle from the engine bay.
  12. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry youā€™re dealing with the same issue. Iā€™m trying to avoid the dealer as Iā€™ve already been in 5 times (3 times for transmission & 2 times for my tailgate). Hopefully I can figure it out.
  13. Wastegate actuator loose/rattling. Anyone else have this issue?

See video attached, but my 2022 2.3L has had this awful wastegate actuator rattle that can be heard in the cabin. If youā€™ve had this issue, do you have a fix? Any suggestions are appreciated because itā€™s such an irritating noise that happens every time the turbo kicks in. Iā€™d have an audio clip...
  14. Check this NOW if you have a 2021 Bronco -- cracks on rear control arm upper brackets

BREAKING NEWS: Local man who modded his vehicle past factory spec and abuses it is shocked when shit starts breaking.
  15. Why I buy Blue Oval!

I agree the customer service is nice. I'm getting my faulty 10 speed replaced at 26K miles. However, I definitely would not plan to buy a new (or any) Ford again unless for my wife who really wants the Maverick.
  16. I have a 2023 2.3L 10 speed transmission and get 17.3 MPG?

Not sure how you're driving but with my 4 door BD, 2.3L, 10 speed on SAS coils and 34" Cooper AT3 XLTs; I'm getting 17-18 city and 21-25 highway. I range from 35-60 mph in the city and 70-75 mph on the highway, usually.
  17. Black Diamond General Grabbers

I got rid of my Grabbers at 13k miles. They were fine, but I found them to be very under-performant on pavement. They often vibrated strangely and made an almost slapping sound. They absolutely dogged through any kind of road water, picked up/held rocks easy, and were awful at ejecting mud. I...
  18. Anyone holding out long term to be a future classic, or in the Bronco for the long haul?

Iā€™m planning on keeping it for at least 10 years, but not because of potential market value. I just want to get my moneyā€™s worth. I didnā€™t buy this thing as a collectorā€™s item. I bought it because I needed a versatile vehicle that can serve as the daily, work, and play buggy. 20k miles in and...
