Wanted to put this out there for those of you experience a rattling noise when the turbo engages on your Broncos. After several dealer visits (including a ride-along) of them telling me they "can't hear anything", I've decided to just fix it myself. See the video below of the "problem that...
Yeah my āservice techniciansā at my dealer claim to not be able to hear it. Even my service advisor did a ride along and couldnāt hear it. Just gonna leave it be for now and try to fix it myself later.
Hey all, I'm in a bunch of Florida-based Bronco groups on FB but none of them seem to be too active in the way of wheeling events right now. Most seem to be just doing meetups/hangouts. My previous group disbanded and no one is really interested in wheeling it seems, which is a huge bummer. I'm...
Looks great! Thank you for the detailed review. This seems so much higher quality than the Rally Tops hard top for not that much more. Can't wait to get rid of my soft top.
Interesting. Iāll definitely look into Lucas Red. Canāt say for certain on the arm pin. I have, however, considered buying a new wastegate assembly from Ford or somewhere else and installing it myself at this point. š
Sorry youāre dealing with the same issue. Iām trying to avoid the dealer as Iāve already been in 5 times (3 times for transmission & 2 times for my tailgate). Hopefully I can figure it out.
See video attached, but my 2022 2.3L has had this awful wastegate actuator rattle that can be heard in the cabin. If youāve had this issue, do you have a fix? Any suggestions are appreciated because itās such an irritating noise that happens every time the turbo kicks in.
Iād have an audio clip...
I agree the customer service is nice. I'm getting my faulty 10 speed replaced at 26K miles. However, I definitely would not plan to buy a new (or any) Ford again unless for my wife who really wants the Maverick.
Not sure how you're driving but with my 4 door BD, 2.3L, 10 speed on SAS coils and 34" Cooper AT3 XLTs; I'm getting 17-18 city and 21-25 highway. I range from 35-60 mph in the city and 70-75 mph on the highway, usually.
I got rid of my Grabbers at 13k miles. They were fine, but I found them to be very under-performant on pavement. They often vibrated strangely and made an almost slapping sound. They absolutely dogged through any kind of road water, picked up/held rocks easy, and were awful at ejecting mud. I...
Iām planning on keeping it for at least 10 years, but not because of potential market value. I just want to get my moneyās worth. I didnāt buy this thing as a collectorās item. I bought it because I needed a versatile vehicle that can serve as the daily, work, and play buggy. 20k miles in and...
