    I’m not an engineer by any means but I would think under normal daily use it would be perfectly fine. Hard wheeling/crawling may be a different story.

    While the resale value thing may be true, you’ll be the one driving it for who knows how long. For me what I enjoy driving is more important than resale value. Vehicles all depreciate and are therefor not a great investment in the first place. Just get what you want and enjoy it, screw resale...
