I haven’t been bucked yet, but my old Jeep has been ducked a few times. My kids have a great time showing appreciation for nice rigs and they get so excited when they find one. I say, play along. It’s meant to build the community and bring people together.
I made my own. Bought some steel at Tractor Supply, cut it, hammered it into 90deg bends, ground and brushed down the corners, drilled the holes, then coated with paint to match matte black. $20 steel vs. $60 KC made.
This past week, I installed the KC Hilites Apollo Pro 6 light pair. I love the way it looks. Instead of paying $60 for KC brackets, we bought a $20 piece of steel, cut it, bent it, ground it down, drilled it, then spayed it matte black. I’m very happy with the look and sturdiness.

Ha! I appreciate the gesture man. The other night when I came home with the lights, my buddies were just like “why don’t we just make some brackets?” For what these things sell for at market value I gotta just start a bracket business lol.
