Picked up my 2024 Badlands MGV interior lux pkg. Here’s interior pics. Nice upgrades compared to my previous Badlands.

In the door picture you’ll see I added inserts in the door handles. For clarification those are aftermarket and prevent scratching. Didn’t want anyone to think that was a Ford factory change.

Thanks to all for your responses. I got full screen with your helpful comments. I didn’t realize both the blue android auto symbol and the expand icon next to it are both actual buttons that change the view. I had no idea pressing on the blue Android Auto logo did anything. Thank you again!

Bigger screen is definitely nice. Now if I can just get the maps full screen I’d be all set! LOL

That’s what I thought but there’s no way to expand maps full screen. Very odd.

Sounds like you don't have coolwalk yet. There's an intermediate update between factory and the latest coolwalk (which is rolling out in waves). You're in that intermediate stage. See attached screen pic. How can I tell if I have cool walk or not? Thanks for your help

I’m the opposite. I lost full screen Google maps. I switch from a google pixel 7 to a Samsung s23 and now I don’t have full screen maps. Wish I could figure this out.

I have the same problem. I can’t get full screen Google maps. I always have the split screen with media on the right side. If I hit the maximize button it just toggles between the Ford tiles and back to split screen android auto. Did you get this resolved? QUOTE="Bronc6g22, post: 1794610...

I went with all wide Beam Was considering a pair of combo beam amber with the wides but ended up with all wide.

Thanks for the info. i was surprised that there was no way to separate the lights. Their harness is only able to turn them all on or off. Not separate. How much is your harness should I decide to separate them? Thanks again for the info. Much appreciated.

Not sure what a “regular switch harness” is. The harness I received from Morimoto required me to mount the relay, connect a power and ground wire. Connect one wire to the aux switch wire of my choice and plug in the lights. Pretty straight forward. Thx

I ordered direct from Morimoto. Not sure what you mean about Morimoto harness modifications. I had to make no modifications. Maybe they updated their kit. Good to know HXB is SAE I picked NCS as I didn’t want to tick off other drivers with on road use. They are plenty bright.

Installed the Morimoto fogs over the holidays. I went with 4 Amber and 2 white beams. All in the wide beam pattern. I decided to get the NCS models as the HXB I don’t think are street legal. I’m very impressed with the NCS line. Super bright and wide beam pattern. I could easily drive with...

No overheating. The mat doesn’t lay on top it just goes over on an angle not like a blanket. Also these are built for tight places. As far as waterproof I would say no and refer to Pioneer website for details. The sub is downfiring Which is good. I wouldn’t hose it with water for sure...

It was around $1500 Canadian for everything including installation. You could certainly do it yourself and save some $$. I don’t have the time or patience to do that anymore. Lol
