Hey did you ever get resolution on this one? I didn't swap my lamps but I have the codes after adding fog lamps, not sure what I accidentally messed up via forscan.
Does anyone know how to keep the amber lights on during the day, aka to be on with DRLs? I noticed they don't illuminate when driving with no lights no, they do not flash/blink with turn signal during daylight as well. They only turn on with key fob activation and when low beams are activated.
Anyone find a way to disable the "Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is disabled" chime? It activates every time I turn on cruse control since I deactivated ACC.
THIS! I literally just did the same with John from SPV when determining what I need for my front fogs. I can't express enough how much I recommend SPV. Watch their/his YouTube videos first and give them a call with any questions. They will be getting my business again due to their amazing level...
Update: If you want them to illuminate with the key fob activation and while Bronco is running, DO NOT use the red (add a fuse) wire. Plug them directly into the headlamp jumper/harness adapter. If you only want it to run with vehicle running (no key fob activation), use the red wire to tap into...
Agreed, I appreciate your post earlier as well. Idk why the IAG guy thought that fuse would work (I should have thought about it better when I was on the phone with him).
Looking at the digital owners manual, it appears ONLY the Raptor 3.0L receives the "spare 21 fuse". I called IAG (I bought my tail sight LED from them), they recommended using fuse 25. I will attempt that tonight after work and report back tomorrow.
I’ll make a few phone calls Monday with my contacts at Ford and find out what happened with our “spare fuses” not being connected to anything. Something is not right here.
Thank you! I’ll have to swap them with 20s, but what about fixing that is stays on 100% even with vehicle off and doors locked (making sure it’s not a timed thing)?
It works but in either 146 or 160 it stays on forever even after lock. But if I hook up to 146 which is a 20 amp fuse, that means I should replace the 10 fuses in the jumper with 20s?
Thank you for the info, sadly the instructions were wrong and the product doesn’t work as sold. It is intended to activate with the key fob but if you use a fuse for protection, that will never happen.
Did you attach the trail sight LEDs to fuse 35 or 18? If so, do either make them illuminate with the key fob lock/unlock aka vehicle not on? That’s really what I’m trying to find, a fuse which is on with key fob lock/unlock.
Apologies, in my haste I accidentally responded to your post. I meant to quote the OP reply directly above yours. I am missing the “spare fuse” like the OP mentioned.
Am I correct to assume you have the "Half cover" version? I have the Bestop soft top with the fastback/slanted/45 degree angled back. Since I plan to do exact same setup as you, except with the Bestop, do you recommend the half cover or trail cover?
I bought that kit but it doesn’t not turn on the Phoenix amp, I confirmed amp is getting power but will not turn on when vehicle is turned on. Any suggestions? I don’t have anything plugged into the “high
