Finally got the chance to swap speakers this weekend.
Very happy with my budget upgrade.
Replaced 4 inchers with Kickers
Added Kicker 6.75 4ohm and Fusion amp.
Spent a while playing with the Forscan settings and just tweaking audio settings finding what I liked.
We'll see. I'm good with seeing how this does first before spending an extra $260 on the pods and bigger speakers.
Worst case I'm out some time and have to send the pair back to Crutchfield for an exchange.
Just ordered my speakers.
4" KS w/ 300hz blockers for dash
4" KS for pods
Fusion amp and 6.75 CompRT
No other upgrades or amps. We'll see how this does and if I feel I need to put a 200.4 in.
Are bass blockers needed if replacing front dash speakers?
I'm planning to install Kicker KS 4" speakers in the dash / rear pods and put a CompRT 6.75" in the factory sub box with a Fusion amp. Obviously doing the Forscan changes to get power back to the rear.
I've seen some conflicting info...
Thanks for the vids. Good seeing the trim removal.
I'm planning to swap out my four 4"s with Kickers and putting the Kicker 6.75 w/ Fusion amp in place of my sub delete dummies. We'll see how that does with just the Forscan changes. Really trying to go pretty minimalist. Hopefully I don't...
Got my lights installed this weekend. Pretty straightforward install and wiring up to Aux 5 & 6 was super easy. Overall very happy with these for $200.
Finally decided to pull the trigger on these. Ordered from Mabett on Amazon and with the discount link they came out to $196.44
Plan is to run them off Aux 5 & 6. This will be my first time wiring anything up.
I haven't bought any yet, but RCI and GOAT are on my short list.

Looks like 21 Offroad does 10% for various professions. Just fyi for those looking to order there.
"Government Employees, Hospital Employees, Medical Providers, Military, Nurses, First Responders, and Teachers receive 10% off"
Looking forward to seeing more peoples thoughts once they've installed them. I'm holding off on picking a fog light setup for now. I am looking forward to getting built next week though!
37 w/ 1 kid. 4 door.
If it was going for more of a play toy I would have gotten a 2 door. As is it'll be my daily and need the room for wife and kid's carseat.
Yeah I don't love the 2 switch requirements, but I can't see myself using them all.
Fogs
Ditch lights
Rear pods once I find a bumper I like.
Maybe a winch down the road.
