    Group, It is very unnerving to see my transmission temperature higher than engine coolant temperature on a 8 mile drive to work.. I’m old school and transmission temperature was safe under 175 degrees.. If you kept them below this temperature and well filtered they could last three times as long..

    Hi Group, have not been able to get 91 let alone 93 octane fuel.. Performance shop in the dealership turned me on to Torso additive.. Just wondered if anyone else has used that additive. My 2.3L with a 6 point octane increase likes that fuel and I bagged 22.1 Mpg going up and down hills at 65 mph..

  7. 2.3 starts bogging (lagging down) and transmission doesn’t downshift

    I have a Big Bend with less than 4000 miles.. I noticed that in occasions when your running in 9, 10 gear that transmission does down shift when you have to slow down.. The engine starts bogging ( lagginng) around 1100 rpm. if you manual down shift, it just jumps back to 1100 and bog down...
