I know BroncBuster is not the most popular in the Bronco world… but all the difficulties of getting the HD rack to work makes the preprogrammed rack offered by Broncbuster worth it IMHO.
No clearance or rubbing issues running Method 706 w 0 offset and stock size 315/70 tires and RokBlokz flaps. I did have to remove the brackets from behind the fender liners as directed in the video.
Speaking for my own setup… it would be easy enough to bypass the solenoid directly to the battery if I had an issue. Meanwhile, the setup gives an extra layer of safety with the flip of a switch.
It’s a joke that they announce a recall with no timeline to make the repairs. It would be nice if they provided an image of the seat bolt in question so we could at check it ourselves. The fuel pump issue in particular has me concerned. It’s been out for months and still no word on the repair...
Dobinsons indictates that their springs will fit the OEM Bilsteins and the Dobinsons shocks. I run the full Dobinsons setup and have been happy with the performance. Doesn’t Bilstein offer a heavier spring for the 6100?
I used the Stinger solenoid without the additional inline fuse to the battery. Curious to know if others are fusing that connection. I used the same heavy wire from the winch to the solenoid to the battery. I think I used 12g to wire the solenoid itself.
Batteries always seem to give up at the most inconvenient time. Usually on a road trip/vacation for me. I am proactive about replacing them at three years to avoid being stranded. About ready to replace the battery in my 2022 non daily driver Bronco
I went with the full Dobinsons IMS as it was the only adjustable coilover kit available at the time with heavier springs front and rear. I also swapped out the upper control arms, lower trailing arms, and trackbar with relocation kit. Been happy with the ride despite the stiffest available...
I’m also running the Rock Jock AntiRock up front. I’d be curious to know which hole your shop uses. Mine went with the stiffest and reluctantly moved it to the middle. I think full soft would be fine given the stiffer springs with my IMS kit. Either way, still softer than stock and has helped...
Nice ride. I see you’re also in SWFL. Had you checked out the Gulf Side Bronco group on FaceBook? They’re putting on a ride this weekend in Picayune.
Been happy with my Dobinsons IMS with the heavier available springs for my 4-door. Would have gone with the MRR if available at the time. There are some YouTube reviews on the system that might be worth checking out.
Not to knock DV8…
Any thoughts on the location of the recovery points on that bumper? I suspect they’d create additional leverage being located ahead of the winch and that much further away from the frame horns.
