Today I installed the ZROADZ ROCK SLIDER SIDE STEP to the Bronco:
Quick Review:
I scored them off of Ebay for a lot less than retail ~ $650 total delivered
They came in perfect condition even tho the box was kind of beat up
They mount directly to the same bolt on location as the factory rock...
I've seen it in person at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and I even have a picture of it hanging on the wall behind me, because it's the December Photo for Galpin's calendar they were passing out.
The pictures above make it look weird. It looks way more normal (and totally freaking sweeet!) in...
How are these as steps?
Our Bronco is my wife's daily driver,, currently we have 37" tires and a 3" lift with factory rock rails and we need something to make it easier to get in and out of. But of course we want capable rock sliders as well.

I'd like to see a Area 51 w/ a Tan Topper.
I have the Rough Country, and very pleased with it.
I have the Soft Top, but it has cutouts to be compatible with the Hard Top too, so you leave it on all the time.
Installation is 15 minutes.
Like others - I did have to wrap the back middle plastic buckles with foam to eliminate clicking...
Yeah, the spare tire location just kinda screams "take me"
These wheels and tires cost about $800 a piece too. FFFFF
I have keyed lug nuts - but I am sure that will not stop a pro.
I should probably add a cable lock around the spare as a further deterrent.
This thread is definitely a...
I'm about to throw mine away,,, just taking up space. I imagine Hitachi takeoffs could be found in several dumpsters around the area... Maybe at your local 4x4 shop...
