UPDATE: I took it in to Ford to have it looked at and they said everything seemed normal. Still sounds to me like the parts they use are cheap with the sounds they make. I had a vehicle before with a turbo in it and never heard the screeching sounds from the waste gate and the whining sounds...

That’s why I post this thread. I’m not mechanically inclined when it comes to vehicles so I wasn’t sure if it was a major issue

Yup that’s it! Now I wonder if that’s doing the same thing when when I open the door when it’s shut off. Thanks for finding that

Also the sound after I open my driver side door. The Bronco isn’t started, just sitting there.

I’m not sure about giving all the information the “Ford” account is requesting because I’m not sure how that helps. I may just schedule an appointment with my local dealer and have service take a look at it.

I’m not sure on the active grill shutters.. it happens when I open the driver side door while the power is off and then it will do it intermittently while it is turned on

Just got my Broncho a few weeks ago. Notice a screeching sound when I open my driver door, coming from the engine area. I also notice it make the same sound when I’m idling (not continuously just every once and a while). Attached is a video, you will hear the sound after 10 seconds. Any help on...
