  1. Manual transmission drivers - does shifting linkage get smoother with use?

Question: How does that knob compare to the OEM in terms of height? I have been looking for a replacement that is at the same height as the original and it looks like many aftermarket knobs have adapters that raise it up.
  2. Any floor mats you like better than WeatherTech?

I have the Tuxmats in a 2023 Badlands. Two+ years with no issues. I liked the way the underside of the mat has no bumps or spikes that are designed for carpet, so they work well with the washout interior of the BL.
  3. Fake sub/amp...Now what?

This is a clip from my eBay order - no longer available, but the part number is in the description.
  4. 40K Mile Long-Term Test Review Wrap: "Life with a Rock Star" (2022 Badlands).......how Car & Driver would spec a new Bronco now

Coincidentally, my off-the-lot 2023 Bronco was almost exactly like the C&D-spec test vehicle. I do have the factory sound-liner, but other than that - identical. I wouldn’t change a thing.
  5. Year 23 Factory Sub Delete - Is amp there already and I can just add a sub?

I think you will be happy with the added subwoofer. It’s a substantial improvement.
  6. Applying Thread Tape to Dash Accessory Mounting Point?

I do not recommend the use of teflon tape for this application. Teflon tape is designed to allow pipe thread, which is tapered, to tighten to a leak-proof joint. Regular bolt threads are not tapered and the tape will not “lock” the joint. Use blue lock-tite or a lock nut of some kind.
  7. Urban Sasquatch daily driver sanity check!

4 door Badlands Sasquatch manual, daily driver with 8 mile city/suburban commute, no regrets. I test drove non-Sasquatch versions and actually like the highway ride of the Sasquatch better. Go for it!
  8. Floor mat ?

I have been happy with Tuxmat. The marketing imagery runs across vehicle types (less “off-roady”) but they are well made and so far, durable. Your comment about bare feet caught my eye - I think you would be happy with Tuxmat - the surface is like a textured weave and there is a bit of padding...
  9. Manual Trans Bronco with shorter inseam

My daughter is 5’-2” and has no issues adjusting the seat to work the clutch. BTW, make sure the next generation can drive a manual!
  10. Fake sub/amp...Now what?

OAUTOO 25PCS Door Trim Panel Retainer with Sealer Replacement for Ford W713297-S300 & Tesla Model S 1025401-00-A https://a.co/d/2CZbTLq These are the ones I ordered from a recommendation. Cheap enough to have on hand. I plan to replace the one I broke.
  11. Fake sub/amp...Now what?

Yes, the red is positive and black is negative. On the amp harness, the black is positive and the white stripe/ black is negative.
  12. Fake sub/amp...Now what?

I installed my Fusion amp and 6.75" Kicker (4 ohm) subwoofer yesterday. Went fairly smoothly - about 3 hours total. I didn't think to reinstall the foam ring from the stock "speaker" assembly - I may try to do that when I fix the broken panel connectors, though I don't know how much difference...
  13. Nationwide search of Ford Inventory now impossible?

Despite the distance limitations of the Ford site search, the big advantage over the other sites (AutoTrader, etc.) is the filter that allows you to spec exactly what you want (like option package). It's a pain, but I found that by targeting major metros, I was able to find a handful of...
  14. Notes from Wheeling / Breaking / Fixing / Loving the Bronco

Love the details here. I have had my BadSas for 48 hours and anticipate some family hauling. I didn't realize the back was without cup holders. What solution did you find?
