I bought a gallon of this from O'Reilly Auto (cheaper than Amazon) and I cut it with 50% water. I use a spray bottle of it for interior leather and plastic, and for the composit fenders (for fenders, spread with micro fiber 1, then quick buff with micro fiber 2). For the wheel wells, I load...
I just attended the Raptor one in the Mojave this summer. Loved every minute of it. Links to two videos I published below. You get a better understanding of functionality and capability. Really fun. .
I agree, it definitely checks the boxes. It doesn't seem to be available for Android that I can tell. The other interesting part of their "proprietary" setup is the cameras stop recording when the vehicle stops, then starts again when it moves. Either way, what you show fits the bill for sure.
I actually called them the week after I came back. They said the software and camera combo were proprietary to either FMC or the company that runs the event (two different companies). If anyone is planning to attend one of these events, maybe take a picture of the cameras, which I negelcted...
I know what you mean, I had my 16yo son with me, too. I tend to swear a lot when I'm excited/having a good time, which is why the longer video I published has music dubbed over. I found out that the video editing program I used has an AI feature that deletes spoken content. I was able to...
Great question....I asked them the same thing and they said it was proprietary. You can replicate the effect, through much manual effort, using a fitness tracker and a GoPro. They provided, at a cost of course, 9 hours of video on a thumb drive that included the telematics. Every Bronco in...
I had a simular event occur where all of a sudden my Bronco sounded like an old Chicago "L" train. It sounded like a caliper had come loose, so I jacked it up and took the 37" rim off the suspected spot (pass/rear) and found a hard rock (not sedimentary) trapped between the dust shield and back...
Looks great. After about 2 months or so, my paint is holding up well. For those considering, plastic prep is everything, so take your time on the bumber cover.
Altitude is not in question, effect radius is. The US Military has EMP shilding on many of their vehicles, and studies have shown that an EMP event at high altitude impacted function 800 miles away at ground level. 🤦♂️
Herculiner Aerosol Spray Truck Bed Liner, 15 Ounce Spray Can, Black, Textured, Suitable For All Truck Beds, 6-7 sq ft Coverage for the bumper and skid plate. I painted the hooks with a can of brush on bed liner from Advanced Auto. I will see if I can dig up the can for more info.
Update.....The headlight film is off. Although it was super east to apply and looked great, it dimmed the lights enough where I decided to pull it off. I originally removed the lower lens part, which looked great, only to realize that the upper lens is for lowbeam and the lower is high. :(
Thanks! The control arm in the finshed picture looks painted, but that is just shadowcast. Since I was using a heavier painted material I didn't want to risk it curing and causing movement issues in the joint. I plan on hitting it with some basic auto flat when the weather warms up enough...
I've completed (are we ever really done?) my front end blackout; I included before and after pics. Not looking for any comments, just sharing what my version was. It consisted of 3 very simple measures:
1) Paint the skidplate and center bumper trim black with bedliner black.
2) Paint the tow...
Leaving any negative opinions on having an EMP shield aside, here is a 4 min video showing how to properly install the device on 2023 Bronco. If you're not a fan of this product, that's fine. I'm more of a hedge your bets kind of guy so I have one. To each their own, right? Here's a link to...
I have a Bronco Raptor and I don't see any gauges for fuel economy, be it average or real time. I only see it available on Trip 1 and Trip 2. The link above covers a Bronco Sport instrument cluster, which appears different from the full size Bronco cluster.
