I have had a Talons trans skid on for a while now and haven’t had temp issue at all. There is plenty of airflow. Not one report of temp problems from a trans skid but more than a few broken plastic pans from rocks.

You are not alone in your dislike of the seats. I want to install aftermarket seats but haven't found a way to disable the airbag sensor in the seat bottom. That or move the sensor to a new seat.
