It was pretty straight forward once getting the wire through the grommet. That was hard and it was a little confusing how to run the wire at the top of the roof but I just poked a hole on the v notch and it’s been fine. Light bar is bright as hell!
That looks great. I put it on and even just the warm weather I was able to work it in and now only have slight gaps at the end and looks just fine. But that looks awesome. Nice one!
Sounds incredible. I have a raptor and my wife has a badlands and we have a place on donner lake. Would love to join you if you end up doing this again.
Yeah I actually saw a raptor in my neighborhood with what looked like the ford wind deflector and was surprised it didn’t fit the raptor. Bet he just made it work I guess.
Seeing a lot of wind deflectors out there but all say “excluding raptor”. Just cracked my windshield and read these things can help mitigate that risk in the future but anyone know of a good one that works with the Bronco Raptor?
Oh yeah I looked at those too. They seem to only mount on the top. Well I have an email out to the DMOS folks and may give it a shot. I feel like they could be mounted to the side of the rack itself. My Packrax are taken as well. Will let you know how it goes if I end up pulling the trigger.
I too am a bit obsessed with locking down anything external. Did you consider this? No idea of it will work with trailrax but looks like it has multiple mounting options...
