Surprised the moderators haven't shut this thread down like they did mine when I brought up a similar topic and similar poll. I emailed them for a reason, but no answer.
I know the pricing and build guide hasn't even been released yet, but I am now planning to cancel my reservation. Many factors went into this decision and I'm still excited about the Bronco overall, but for now, it appears that a big off-road truck lifestyle isn't in the cards for me. As you are...
The Outer Banks is the only trim in the lineup to have the auto transmission by default, and it's baked-in to the base price of the OBX. I've yet to see even the slightest suggestion that you'd be able to 'downgrade' to the manual trans. Regardless, I still want a manual V6 Squatchbanks which...
CPO 2017 BMW X4 M40i.
It's my 26th BMW and probably one of the fastest and decently practical BMWs I've owned over the years, but after this shit-show that is 2020, it's time to get back out on the trail and enjoy the wilderness.
Hopefully everything is metric on these Broncos, like my BMWs...
I was going to make a Warn recovery joke too but you beat me to it. BTW, it's winch not wench! That's a whole different joke on misspelling that will get you in a lot more trouble than not paying attention to your wife!
I'm getting a 2DR SquatchBanks, but I'll sell off those hideous factory wheels first thing and transfer the 35" tires over to a better looking aftermarket 17" wheel. But for daily driving duties, I'm planning to get another set of aftermarket 17" wheels with a nice 33" all terrain tire. I'm...
I had a similar question on this thread that really wasn't ever answered (I did learn more here on this thread about it though):

I'm betting this eBay seller has no intention of putting forth a single penny of his own money on this deal... In other words, he's not going to actually buy it/finance it, and then turn around and sell it to the person who won the $15K-$25K auction. BTW, I don't see any problem with selling a...
I was about to post something similar....
My question is when is the trade-in factored in? In December ordering process, or when we sign papers in June? Obviously my trade-in will be worth less by the time June comes around (it's a BMW after all LOL). Thankfully, I'm ahead of the depreciation...
Best explanation I've seen yet... Thanks.
If it's an option on the Outer Banks, I think I'll pass... It's added money on my already spendy options list, and it's also bad enough I can't get a manual transmission on Outer Banks, or with the V6... So at least leave me the fun of choosing when...
It's not terribly difficult to get the Sasquatch 'stance' with eventual aftermarket tires and wheels and lift kit, but don't forget the Sasquatch package includes important things like a 4.7:1 final drive to deal with the big tires. It's unlikely you're going to be able to get aftermarket tires...
On the other hand, it could also garner some higher profit sales, albeit in the extended future. All I can say though, is that if any of my engineers displayed an un-announced future project on their LinkedIn pages without prior authorization, they would have to be let go.
Had 35's on 18" rims from the previous owner, but eventually I swapped out for the same style 17" wheels and new tires when it was time for new rubber. The 416 trailer also had matching 17's and matching tires. The old 18" wheel setup shown below. Regardless of wheel/tire combo I had though...
If we have to have a Bronco wave, I was thinking of replicating a kicking Bronco using your peace-sign fingers, shooting hooves out to the side twice instead of up in the air once....
Hahaha, I was born and raised in Detroit (coincidentally because my grandfather imigrated here from Italy and worked at Ford all his life!) but I don't remember flipping people off on the Lodge! LOL Damn, missed opportunities when I was driving an '82 Lincoln Mk.VI throughout high-school!
Not a problem Sarge, like I said in my original post, I did search of thread titles for "Jeep Wave" before posting and didn't see anything... However, I didn't search for "Bronco Wave" (duh) and therefore missed all the other threads that already existed on the topic.
Please take this post & poll with as a semi-sarcastic/light-hearted grain of salt! Just having some automotive-sociological fun!
P. S. I did search for 'Jeep Wave' in the forum before posting this! But apparently I didn't come across the other 'Bronco Wave' posts and polls that were already out...
I'm coming from a 10 year BMW collector/restoration hobby with 26 examples during that time frame (with a Rescue Green JK thrown in there a few years ago). Out of the 26 BMWs, 13 of them were dark metallic green.
I was tempted to get a Bullit Mustang when they came out, just for that...
