The wildtrack does look good in the pic. But I can tell you that those tires are photo-shopped to look extra ballooned lol. They almost look like 16in wheels!
Compare these two pics.
I think people will be surprised as to how expensive these vehicles will be. My guess is big bend with sasquatch will be around 43k to 44k, with black diamond being a couple thousand more.
Im sure there will be many options out there. Here is one that attaches itself to the tire. Im assuming using the lug nuts. Idk what you would do about the backup cam.
I guess the more I think about it, the more I can see how they can be used cut and push tree limbs out of the way.
But what about other functions for the anchor points? I'm sure an aftermarket company is already designing brackets to mount a massive light bar across the hood.
Or even a mount...
Porsche has it on their 7 speed manual. When you come to a stop in neutral and clutch released, it shuts off. The engine starts right when you start to push the clutch in. It actually works pretty good since the engine is ready to go right as you start to release the clutch.
It would be really cool if they were an option! Maybe just have fixed glass in the opening? Not to bring up a wildly different car, but the Mclaren Senna has a similar design with fixed glass.
Ideas for the front 150 lbs tie down anchors?? The prototype shows that they used for vegetation clearing. Which, tbh I'm not so sure it is that useful...
Ford has always been a little cheap when it comes to brakes. I honestly don't expect much. Just enough to get the job done. My guess is that they will probably be equivalent to Edge brakes since the towing capacity and weight will be similar.
Completely agree. They probably should have brought back classic colors that were released on the first gen back in the 60s. Similar to what Porsche does with their special additions ;)
