Well, if the spare dropped with the hatch, tailgate style, soccer moms wouldn't be able to load groceries because they wouldn't be able to lift it back into place. Consider that even a 32" wheel/tire combo can weigh 60+ lbs. The 35" on my Jeep is 90 lbs.
No rear vents is a major miss for Ford. I really wish my JK had them for the summers in TX. The JL has them, but I'm not willing to trade rear vents for all the other issues the JL has.
Ford won't worry about it until Jeep figures out how to get the giant V8 to pass the crash tests without completely redesigning the front of the Wrangler.
It's obvious Ford put a ton of work into the small details, but is anyone else disappointed that they didn't bother to mold rain gutters into the top above the doors? Jeep has done this since the CJ.
