I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas at this point. I just want to know my price so I can call my dealer and make sure that’s what I’m paying with them.
Gotcha. I'll get pre approved beforehand. I've got a pretty good credit score so I don't think I'll have to rely on the crap 5.9% rate if that's what Ford wants. I've financed my first car with Ford at a 7% rate. Super high but I was dumb and it was my first loan. Started financing a Subaru at a...
Sorry if this was asked, but should we first see what the dealer is going to offer us in terms of financing? Then if it's something like 5.9%, tell them no and go get a loan elsewhere?
I debated 2 door and 4 door. 2 door looks better to me and is less money. The 4 door though has more room. Like, it appears to be a lot more. But it comes down to this. I'm 24 with no kids. I don't need that extra room right now. I'm going with the 2 door.
I'm going to register it in WV. I only have an apartment in PA. Until I get my own home, I'm not switching addresses to PA. WV isn't a 2 plate state but when I order from my dealer I'm making sure they note not to drill into the bumper. If it's drilled into when I got to pick it up, I am not...
1- I'm going with 2 door because I like the looks
2- Hard top comes off. I'm going with it. Also because I like the looks.
3- I'd go with Badlands and upgrade to leather seats. Mainly because I don't want Vinyl. But I'm going Big Bend or Base Model.
4- I'm buying out of state. I'm buying in...
I can’t wait for one day you have a price for the base model, and then select each individual add on you want and pay for it. None of this “well I need to move up 2 trims to get the 12 inch touch screen” bs.
Yea. There’s definitely things to work out with it. But hopefully they can continue to work on this since I think online sales is the best way to sell cars. You’ll always need car lots for people who need to buy a car in a pinch. However, the way Tesla sells is how it should be. The price you...
I’ll be financing. At 24 years old, it’s tough to have enough cash to buy it all at once. That being said, I’ll probably be able to put about 15-20k down on it. I’ve had car payments for over 6 years now. Had a Ford Focus and almost had it paid off when it got totaled. Used the money from that...
In college for my final business management project I did a full internal and external analysis on Ford and the automotive industry. With this project we had to do the analysis and then compare them to find out what are the best decisions Ford should be making to put their company in a better...
Thanks for the input. I do plan on keeping the car for 10+ years. I realize plans can change though. Once the build and price comes out it will make it easier to decide.
I just checked it out. If you select make and model of a car and then the seat material you want, it allows you to enter your location and find a shop. In my case it said estimated price was around $2K. I could have put more info in to ask for a quote though.
It appears the Outer Banks model is the first trim to offer leather seats. As someone who wants leather seats and was planning on going with the Base model or Big Bend, what options do I have? Has anyone had experience with leather seat covers? Or would it be wise to get it reupholstered?
Stop freaking out. This is literally not a surprise. Yes, it sucks a rumor went around that it would be up this month, but the only official Ford statement said it would be up this Fall. Fall is September 22 - December 21.
Now that we have another statement from a legit Ford rep, we know it's...
