Haha... I was eventually able to get it in. One issue is it looks like one of the bands was not cinched down tight around the boot, so it started leaking some grease. I am waiting to hear back before doing anything more to it. Had maybe 70 or so miles on it before I noticed.
Anyone have any idea on what this could be inside the coolant reservoir? It was definitely on the low side when I noticed this, it is inside the reservoir.
They arrived. The Bronco is currently at the dealer getting the front pinion seal replaced, hopefully I will get some time this weekend to install them.
My dealer has been telling me the seal is on backorder with no estimated date so I have been waiting. I was able to source one from another dealer and have it shipped to me. Hopefully my dealer will allow me to give them the part for installation.
Not sure how many keep checking in, but I as well have been pinging them every month or so to get a status as I have had a long pending order. So far they have not been able to provide an ETA.
Interested in how this goes. I was told as well that they would repair it with some glue. I have been hesitant to take it back until I see if it is working well for others.
Just tried that and no way I can get it to compress all the way. I'll try to mount a GoPro in there. From what I could compress, I don't see how it can touch without something else flexing/moving. Now to check all the bolts for proper torque.
I recently installed King shocks on my 4 door Badlands and I am experiencing some popping noises in some cases. Upon inspection, it looks like I am getting some binding on the lower spring with the sway bar arm. I am assuming this is where it is coming from. It very well could be that it is...
I also installed this same table and probably added around 3k miles since it has been installed. Very solid without any rattles. The no drill was also what sold me on this and it does not feel like it is going anywhere.
I installed the shocks as well as the UCAs. I did not notice anything loose, but I was not even thinking this would resolve the issue. I am still monitoring it closely when I come to a stop and then take off, so far so good now.
Right now I have it on the softest setting. I have only done a slow offroad trail and on the highway. I am hoping to take it out to Johnson Valley in the coming weeks and try some other settings.
